This filter is a direct factory OEM replacement so it fits exactly into my refrigerator. It's easy to install with no tools required. It does a good job filtering the water for both the ice maker and the water dispenser. Remember to run about a gallon of water through the filter after you first install the new filter or you will get grey looking water and ice cubes. The flushing is needed to clear the dust from the charcoal filtration.

You can tell when the it's overdue to change the water filter. As soon as the new filter is installed, the water flows do much easier through the dispenser. And tastes better too!

It's important to change your refrigerator's water filter at the recommended intervals. I can tell a big difference in how the water tastes.
