Easy to work. The programming is a bit more complicated than expected but still straight forward. Sound quality is great. Bandwidth was my key reason for picking this device.

I'm not really sure if it was great or not. I purchased this because my son is a police officer and I wanted to hear what was going on while he was working however I received it with the box damaged so I don't know if the radio was damaged or if it was just to complicated for me to use....however the quality looked and felt great so if you know about how to use these scanner then for the price you should for sure give it a try. This did nor come with instuctions. I dont know how to rogtam it. It wa a wastof money and its sitting in the box

This scanner is just okay. It does not have good pickup and sound. However, it is small and easy to deal with.

I purchased this scanner about 2 months ago and really enjoyed listening what is going on around town and the surrounding towns. Being on top of what is happening.

This is ok. Easy to set frequencies. It needs a clear view for best reception. I have it sitting in a window. I have a whistler desk top style that works great for my needs. But it is not battery operated. So I bought this one for if the weather or whatever situation puts the power out. I have something to listen to.

This wasn't nearly close to what I thought it would be. Once the codes was programed in still didn't work. I was very disappointed.

I FOUND THAT THE SCANNER IS GREAT TO LISTEN TO IN THE EVENING. GOOD TO KNOW WHY AND WHERE THE SIRENS ARE GOING.

this is a fun radio to play with i like how it comes with the option for rechargeable batteries or regular batteries. i do wish they had more antenna options for it at best buy but the rubber duck that it comes with does the job

Best Buy always has the best product info. This scanner is SO easy to set up and use. The instructions were very clear and they even give you a website to find frequencies in your area.

I had two radio shack over the years and when the last one died I looked for another scanner. Ordered a bearcat off another site and immediately sent it back. Too complicated, no AC plug included and couldn't figure out the computer plug at all. This one is simple and gets the job done. Easy to program for the casual listener

I have been monitoring Police calls for over 40 years, starting when I lived in Staten Island, N.Y. and worked for the Press core in Manhattan. I was a teletype operator and worked all three shifts, 5 days a week, and kept upto date on the happenings both at home and at work. It was one of my interests. Retired now in Florida I experienced plenty of activity by the police, ambulance, and other emergency vehicles, and decided to purchase a scanner down here. I now have two scanners working, different bands. At almost 85 years old it is my hobby and keeps my brain stimulated by recalling the areas the problem are, also solves my "what's happening now". hope this help you.

Brought for a friend. From the looks of it, it was made of good quality. Not too heavy. I haven't had a chance to use it or talk to him about it. No complaints

My wife loves it. Bought it gor her so she could stay in the know of what was going on around us.

Scanner is fun & informational to listen to. It gives a brief overview of what is going on in the area without having to wait for the local news on radio or television. Good value without having to spend too much money.

For the price it works great! As good as the more expensive ones. I programmed all my local channels and I got to tell ya it works perfectly.

So far it works great overall happy with this item.

I bought this product because the Police and Fire Department are always in my neighborhood. I am very happy that about 50% of the calls are unfounded. I love this thing!
