About this product
The second full-length by Whistler is a shimmering charge of sound, a spell so loud and ambitious it wants to be heard through speakers the size of a door. Notes boom and sway with a sparkling anti-gravity, lifting you into the air, lowering you onto soft fields. In the words of Whistler's vocalist/guitarist Louis Scherfig, InchOur songs musically are quite driven by an idea of beauty.Inch This beauty is paired with a tenacious commitment, each of the nine songs carrying it's own sturdy, balanced grace. It is easy to picture the four members walking circles around each song, shoving here and shaking there, ensuring that everything is firmly grounded, supported, braced. Telltale Sauce is an architectural masterpiece. It's also a head-hung downer. Because for every unforgettable hook, for every harmonized embrace, there's a shattering confrontation in the lyrics. As the twinned, weary voices of Scherfig and Ditte Gyldendal Amby sing on the title track, InchChange is gonna come,Inch before clarifying InchIt'll hunt us down forever.Inch Perhaps Telltale Sauce is best understood as Madchester without the drugs-all the smeared colors and harsh edges of, like, The Stone Roses, but forced into the sober, inevitable light of 2022.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2025 . In 2024, Scour elevated their intensity with the announcement of their first full-length album, Gold, which includes a guest solo by Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus). Recording for Gold began in February 2023 at Nodferatu's Lair - Philip Anselmo's personal studio and rehearsal space - which saw the band highly engaged in a concentrated effort toward a truly diabolical composition; with Anselmo leading the charge at every turn. One would often find the entire band in the control room in ecstatic debate; meticulously mulling over every blast beat and divebomb. The album was intermittently refined, and lyrical concepts finalized, over the course of 2023 as touring schedules would allow. Anselmo began vocal recordings in the fall of 2023 at 'The Lair. ' Back-up vocal recordings were then executed by the rest of the band in arena backstage rooms over the course of Pantera's February 2024 tour, where the full band would also thoroughly review the instrumentation mixes. Once the tracks were finalized by Scour and mixing engineer Dennis Israel, they were then passed to Fascination Street Studio in Örebro, Sweden for mastering by Jens Bogren. Deepening the experience set forth in Scour's EP trilogy, Gold pulls the listener through a blistering vortex of speed, aggression, and, above all, absolute horror. Drawing from a deep framework of literary horror masterworks, Gold guides the listener beyond the realm of death and through the metaphysical anomalies of a disheveled and decaying mind. In-so-which the pall of a savage universe is lifted, an inconceivable puppetmaster revealed, the remaining self of the listener excruciatingly dissolved, and left asking 'who is it that pulls the strings?Inch
Limited red colored vinyl LP pressing. The original motion picture soundtrack for the 1994 Michele Soavi cult horror film, Dellamorte Dellamore (aka Cemetery Man) composed & performed by Manuel de Sica. The film was based on a 1991 novel by Tiziano Sclavi. Sclavi is also the author of the comic Dylan Dog. de Sica nails the tone of the film, allowing the music to somehow walk the line of sinister and mundane without coming off as forced. Dark atmospheres with electronic grooves and dark jazz tapestries. An Amazing Gothic Horror Soundtrack.
