Whitesnake - Unzipped - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Digitally remastered edition. Whitesnake is the self-titled seventh studio album by the British rock band of the same name. Soon after it's in April 1987, Whitesnake became a huge success around the world. The album produced a major power ballad hit, InchIs This LoveInch, along with the #1 hit InchHere I Go AgainInch. The album was a major crossover hit eventually selling over eight million copies in the US (and thus going eight times platinum). The album peaked at #2 on the US Billboard 200 and #8 on the UK Albums Chart. It's success would see the band receive a nomination for the Brit Award for Best British Group in 1988.

The two vocal works featured on this disc encompass virtually the entire span of Markevitch' compositional life, and the whole range of his style, from the gripping immediacy of Psaume, written at the age of 21, to the polished sophistication of Lorenzo.

Whitesnake explores the group's 2008 return with the upcoming retrospective, STILL GOOD TO BE BAD. The music will be available in different configurations on April 28, a few days after the original album's 15th anniversary. The newly remixed version of InchCan You Hear The Wind BlowInch (track and video) will launch on 2/24 along with the preorder and album announce. This album's 2023 Remix is released on a 1CD with a 12pg booklet.
