About this product

'Wish On The Bone' is Why Bonnie's sophomore LP and debut for Fire Talk. It's untethered from any landscape or genre, propelled by this freedom and resulting in Why Bonnie's most catchy, hopeful body of work to-date. Ranging from twangy country infused rock jams to more intimate and lo-fi arrangements, 'Wish on the Bone' is wide-eyed and waiting. It's a coming of age film in which the protagonist rejects the forces that have tried, and failed, to shape her into something other than herself. It leaves you with a hard-fought sense of hope, which is among songwriter Blair Howerton's greatest gifts. InchYou owe it to the people who are experiencing the worst to just keep pushing,Inch Howerton says. That's the throughline of InchWish On The BoneInch, a record that rewards with repeated listens. Album Tracks 1. Wish on the Bone 2. Dotted Line 3. Rhyme or Reason 4. Fake Out 5. Headlight Sun 6. Green Things 7. All the Money 8. Peppermint 9. Three Big Moons 10. I Took the Shot

90 in November, the first full-length LP from Texas quintet Why Bonnie, crashes into existencewith a squeal of feedback and a burst of distorted guitar. It's a dynamic introduction to a moreraw-edged indie sound from a band who have matured from bedroom dream pop into asophisticated rock act, their evolving sound a reflection of the journey undertaken by songwriterBlair Howerton on this vividly rendered collection of songs. The songs for 90 in November were mostly written in Brooklyn, New York, where Howertonmoved from Austin in 2019. Already in the midst of a major life change, Howerton's feeling ofbeing between worlds was compounded when quarantine hit and she found herself, like somany others, stuck in her apartment-about as far away from the wide-open spaces of Texas asone can possibly get. It was in this environment that she began to write songs parsing out thecomplicated, mixed emotions associated with building a new home while attempting to makesense of the one she had left behind. Album Tracks 1. Sailor Mouth 2. Galveston 3. Nowhere, la 4. Hot Car 5. Silsbee 6. 90 in November 7. Healthy 8. Sharp Turn 9. Lot's Wife 10. Superhero
