Q: What size window does the vent kit accommodate? , Will the vent kit work for a sideway window?
A: The window kit for ventilation has been designed to fit most vertical and horizontal windows and can be modified for various size windows.
Q: I was wondering if this will fit a normal plug in your house or if it has to be a specific kind
A: This item fits normal three-pronged outlets.
Q: Is this both a dehumidifier and air conditioner
A: Hi Pat,
This model is a portable air conditioner with a dehumidifying function.The air conditioner dehumidifies in both Cool and Dehumidify modes; anytime the compressor is running, the unit is dehumidifying.

Q: could i vent this through my ceiling into the attic? does it have to vent outside?
A: Hi,
This item is designed to vent to the outside although you can vent through the ceiling. We do not recommend using the intake hose in this situation.

A: It will certainly help. I haven’t found a larger capacity portable unit. You could look at window units or the more expensive split units which get more pricey as well as more requirements to install.
Q: I would be putting this in a room with no windows only a sliding glass door will this work ?
A: The hose and window kit will not cover a hole the height of a sliding glass door. You would have to improvise with some lumber or other long thin material to fit the hoses into. You would also have a concern for security of the door unlocked and possible break-ins.
