The Misfits are founded in 1977 by Glenn Danzig. They were hitting the stages the first couple of years with their hardcore punk. Later on they changed their style to heavy metal and punk rock. Consistent during the years is the influences from horror and sci-fi films, which can be seen by the clothing they wear, the visuals in the live shows and in the lyric they write. InchFamous MonstersInch is the fifth studio album. It is the second in the post-Danzig era of the band, and the last album to feature Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Michale Graves, and Dr. Chud, who would all quit the band in 2000. The song InchScream!Inch was turned into a music video directed by George A. Romero. In addition, the band appeared in Romero's film Bruiser. InchKong at the GatesInch was the theme music for WCW alumnus Vampiro. The song InchDescending AngelInch was re-recorded and released as a single in 2013, with Jerry Only on lead vocals.
