About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. Sydney-based sextet Winston Surfshirt has made a quick rise to fame in Australia off the strength of their unique blend of hip-hop, funk, and psychedelic surf-rock. With 2017's Sponge Cake being well received critically and commercially, Winston Surfshirt look to follow-up their success with their second studio LP Apple Crumble. With a sound that owes as much to Sly and The Family Stone as it does Wavves, the band has garnered significant attention, notably from Elton John who dubbed them his Inchfavorite band at the moment.Inch

With his first album InchBorn FunkyInch, Bellaire intends to lay the foundation of his own movement, Inchfunky houseInch. An organic sound, influenced by disco and jazz, where legends such as Cerrone, Barbara Tucker or Dimitri from Paris share the dancefloor with a new generation of artists such as Nic Hanson or Tour-Maubourg. Mixed by Alf Briat (Air, Phoenix), mastered by Alex Gopher at Soundlab, this album is meant to transcend the confinements of club music and aims to be listened to everywhere.
