Wollny,Michael / Lefebvre,Tim / Schaefer,Eric - Living Ghosts - VINYL LP

For Pianist Michael Wollny, songs are like ghosts. His new album InchGhostsInch is a gathering of some of the ghosts that regularly haunt him. Typically for Wollny, they range from classics like Franz Schubert's InchErlkönigInch to jazz standards, film music, songs with a certain fragility by Nick Cave, say, or the band Timber Timbre, and also include his own darkly evocative original compositions.

Four of their singles sold over one million copies each, and received a gold disc InchChirpy Chirpy Cheep CheepInch. InchSacramentoInch, InchTweedle Dee, Tweedle DumInch and InchSoley SoleyInch. By early 1972 the group had sold over five million records. In 1974, early Bay City Rollers member Neil Henderson joined the band on guitar. He wrote and co-wrote songs for Middle of the Road, including the singles InchRockin' SoulInch and InchEverybody Loves a WinnerInch and 1974 albums, You Pays Yer Money and You Takes Yer Chance and Postcard, all released in Germany via Ariola like their first German LP, Music Music. Krill's debut album Alam No Hris is celebrating it's tenth birthday in 2022. With assistance from actual tag Sipsman, the band's fake tag Sren Records has remastered Alam No Hris for the occasion and pressed it to vinyl for the very first time, available November 18 worldwide. Simply put, Alam No Hris is a baker's dozen of nervy, charming, lofi missives disguised as garage pop songs. InchWhenever I think about Alam No Hris - the repetitive, incoherent joy on display in many of the songs - I think of it as 'ecstatic',Inch bassist/vocalist Jonah Furman says. InchThe whole thing is like someone stammering to express themselves in a moment of overwhelming emotion.
