Canadian American singer, actor Robert Goulet was one of America's most popular entertainers of the 1960's, regularly appearing on Broadway, television, movies and headlining Las Vegas shows. Originally released in 1982, the album InchClose to YouInch features many of the songs that Goulet would perform in his stage act, including InchIf Ever I Would Leave You,Inch It's ImpossibleInch and the title track InchClose to You.Inch All selections newly remastered.

The title speaks for itself. Piano solos by the legendary Erroll Garner recorded in the early stages of his distinguished career. These rare recordings predate his Bop credentials by a few months prior to his jam sessions with Charlie Parker and other pioneers. Although best known for his trio works throughout the Fifties these classic recordings illustrate his technique and depth of expression beautifully.
