I bought the Worx JawSaw to trim branches around my yard, and it’s honestly a game changer—super safe, lightweight, and cuts through thick limbs like nothing. The jaws keep the blade enclosed, so I never feel nervous using it, even close to the ground. It’s like having chainsaw power without the intimidation.

My first test of this tool was using it to help remove dead branches from trees on a rural property. My tool set included a pole saw that reaches higher branches, this WORX JAWSAW, a lopper, and pruning shears. The JAWSAW worked especially well on cutting downed branches into 3' sections. I made about 40 to 50 cuts, and there was still oil in the reservoir and charge left on the battery. I really like that the chain itself is much safer to use than a standard chain saw, and that the jaws lock branches in place while being cut. The only issue I have is that there are a couple of associated tools -- a plastic key used to lock the handle in place while doing maintenance and a socket that is used to remove the chain motor cover for cleaning and chain tensioning. The plastic key dangles from a string. I used an elastic band to keep it in place while suing the tool to prevent it from snagging on something. And the socket tool will most likely wander off and go missing in the future.

This is awesome for up to 3” branches and good for up to 6” limbs. Don’t have to use the heavier regular chainsaw.

Feels a lot safer than a normal chainsaw. Easy to use and cuts like butter.
