The HubX is just like the base Hub, but with a USB port for charging a device and a belt clip for even more mobility. And the HubX powers them all with just one 20V Power Share battery (not included). Batteries are expensive, so you’ll save a lot by powering every tool in the collection with just one. And we didn’t want the HubX to get in your way. It’s meant to keep a little distance from the project, and its long, 4-foot flexible cord gives you the room to move any which way you please. The HubX powers the MakerX Rotary Tool, Angle Grinder, Mini HeatGun, Air Brush, and the Wood & Metal Crafter. And it uses the popular, high-tech, 20V Max Lithium-ion rechargeable Power Share line of batteries to do so. Those batteries are the same ones that power all the tools on the Worx Power Share platform, tools like drills, miter saws, chain saws, string trimmers and lawnmowers. The Power Share platform has been around for a while now, providing a cost-effective way to grow a high-performance and reliable tool collection.
