Wunderhorse - Midas - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Wunderhorse is the alias of British musician Jacob Slater. Jacob fronted The Dead Pretties, a London band who arrived in a haze of hedonism and hype, bowing out before the dust had time to settle. Blink and you'd have missed them. Time-stamped yet timeless. If there's any justice, he'll soon be played out live in sticky basement rooms up and down the country, limbs everywhere, sweat dripping from the walls. An absolute mess, but what a beautiful one.

Atlantæum Flood is a unique instrumental five-piece collective featuring Marty Willson-Piper (ex-The Church and All About Eve).Their debut album One Day is both epic and eclectic, fusing world music influences with elementsof folk and progressive rock. Ranging from subtle ethereal moments with dreamy 12-string guitarsto dynamic, powerful intensity with soaring lead lines against a percussive backdrop, the eighttrack is a beautifully cohesive and considered cinematic soundscape.Atlantæum Flood is Steve & Lynne Knott, Marty & Olivia Willson-Piper and Dare MasonBefore SunriseAfter SunriseBefore NoonAfter NoonBefore SunsetAfter SunsetBefore MidnightAfter Midnght
