With all the latest Marvel and DC super hero movies being released, I introduced my grandchildren to the X-Men after seeing the latest releases. This will bring them up to speed and get the background on the history of Marvel and DC comic characters. Very good. They are 10, 13 and 25.

I am a die hard X-Men buff and enjoyed this movie immensely. Saw it in the theater and could not wait for the dvd release. We have watched it 3x already - did miss some of the original characters and wish they could have portrayed their original characters in a younger version but this movie did not disappoint. If you are not familiar with the X-Men series, you may want to view those first to familiarize yourself with the theme, characters, etc. Loved this movie!

X-men: Apocalypse is a good movie not Great. Great action but lacks the comic book feel. If you like the X-men movies and comics it's a must buy. If you like the comic books the movie lacks direction. Come on now would you really tackle Apocalypse without Gambit and Rouge. Great Storm and Psylocke intro you really do not need a big name to play these roles effectively. Great job Alexandra and Olivia. Fox does a poor job with the x-men movie please get the marvel universe back under one umbrella DISNEY!

Chronologically speaking, Jean releases the Phoenix Force 10 years before she goes Dark Phoenix? I know that the previous movie tweaked the timeline some, returning the future back to how Wolverine remembered it in X3... But then you have the comic books and their timelines, plus the original trilogy. If I were Lewis Black, I would be spewing expletives and foaming at the mouth. Ignoring the obvious time paradox that may be here... It is a good action romp worth the viewing. Just ignore the lore.

If you're a fan of the xmen series this is a must see. I think we can all agree that the director cut corners and didn't know what the he was doing on days of future past, but this one is definitely better. It shares a history with the xmen of the past and catches things up to the present. Great way for a series to be closed out, and I highly recommend it to all the fans out there!

Some people have been down on the X-Men franchise for awhile now. The flicks always turn a reliable profit and are always entertaining - albeit, some more than others. If you include Deadpool in the count, then there'll be the 10th one out this year w/Logan. They cannot all be "the best". Having said that, I like this one quite a bit. It was definitely better than ALL of the 1st trilogy and necessary for my collection! &;-} -]

I seldom get a chance to go to the movie theaters, so I wait for movies to come out on DVD and purchase the ones that interest me. The action and special effects of this movie are great. The story line also explains how Prof. X became bald. I do have a slight problem with the idea of early human history mutants, since these mutations occurred prior to the nuclear age.

As this may be the final chapter for the Xmen with this cast, I was hoping for a "going out with a bang" final chapter, and they did not disappoint. While many diehard fans have issues with this movie because of various parts and the way the characters were portrayed, I thought this was an excellent version of a well known X-Men villain....This is a must watch...

I knew this movie was really panned by the critics and most of the audience, but I must say that I really enjoyed the movie. I found myself really involved in the plot and that the movie was actually really well done. Maybe I felt this was because I did not have really high expectations going in, but I must say that this movie is definitely worth the watch.
