I bought this for my bedroom. Put the Xbox one x in the living room. I have mostly digital games on my account, so this worked perfectly. Just have to download them on the new console. Black Friday deal was a steal.

Had an Xbox 360 and replaced it for the Xbox-One S to meet my gaming demands. It worked like a charm bth for gaming and to use it to watch tv via the various apps ((Hulu, Netflix, etc.). The Xbox 360 used to disconnect a lot. The Xbox One S works like a charm, and I also love the security features that Microsoft has.

OK Microsoft ---- I loved this. We used to have 2 xboxes setup but keeping the discs straight between the two xboxes was a hassle and pointless. I finally banned my daughters and son from buying discs. So the old black XBox One was damaged during the move and I was able to pick this up on black friday. Its the future. Pluses: - simple, low heat - right price - Disc are on the way out so why pay for added costs of a disc drive Minuses: - Size: Microsoft should cut costs from removal of the disc drive and also save lots of costs by making XBOX 1 S Digital half the size of the regular XBox. That way we could fit the XBox into tight spots. AND there would be two real benefits of the "all digital" version - Costs and Size. The "all digital" version should cost less and be smaller and save microsoft costs/money. This one is the same size as the XBox 1 S with a disc drive so there is the logic issue.

I got the xbox for a 150 and a came with 3 games the xbox console and everything you need to play right away. Even though it is a dissolve model I wish there was a way for any disk you had that I could pay a small the and be able to convert to digital. Excellent deal to ethier upgrade or new gamers

I got this console for the best price ever. Although it doesn’t have a disc player, it was a good experience. It played games nicely and smoothly. It came with 3 of my favorite games too.

I was never a gaming console person with PC games more powerful, in my opinion. This console was drastically on sale so we got it for the kids for Christmas. I am impressed with the graphics and speed of the internal processor. We have about 20 games installed on the internal hard drive and are about 50 percent full so no need to go above 1 tb for us, we delete games that aren't any good as we install others. In case you don't know how xbox works, it will cost you $15 a month for the subscription to game pass which lets you download and play games from their library, over 100 games. But that means this is going to cost you money as long as you have it. The other option is buying games and not using the subscription so be ready for those options. The Fortnite addition on this console gives you $45 worth of v-bucks since Fortnite is free to play. Sea of thieves is kind of boring and our youngest plays the minecraft game but plays it much more on the pc than xbox.

Affordable xbox console with clean and fast design, picture looks great for streaming netflix, youtube, wwe , espn , ect (4k video) and games run well as expected. It doesnt read disks but I had almost all my xbox one games digitally so it wasnt a problem . The free games that came with the xbox are good decent games as well that are fun to play with friends. This console is the perfect gift for anyone.

Great Xbox I bought this for my nephews because I know they're very messy with keeping up on the CD games. They either lose them break them or scratch them and can be ruined and never play them again and would have to purchase a new one. This device does not have a CD-ROM drive It is a downloadable one terabyte drive that comes with two games well worth it. And also came with three months of gamepass great idea for a $1. Thanks guys

If you don't know what an XBOX is, you probably have been asleep for the past 15 years, so get some coffee, get an XBOX and play for a while. This is my 5th XBOX One. I love XBOX. It does everything I want and more than I care about. I bought the All Digital because I HATE Disks. The scratch, break, and get lost. Anything I have in the cloud will last as long as Microsoft is around I would suspect. Also, NO BRICK Powersupply. YAY!. And a 1TB Drive!, I can DL whatever game I want. Play it till I'm done and delete it if my drive gets full, and then Hey I'd like to play that game again? I don't have to look for the disk I haven't touched in 6 months, I just re-download and Voila! Playing again. Digital is the way of the future people. Get the net!

Let me start off by saying that I was a physical disc purist for a long time. The problem with that in today's gaming world is that you're going to need an internet connection regardless of what type of game you play. You may think to yourself "but I only play single player" which you may and it's a wonderful thing enjoying your content. But today's games are nowhere near finished when they leave publishers. How many games today require a day 1 patch? Ok let's say the game drops and you're like well see this game didnt need a day 1 patch. True, but do you realize that you still need to validate your license everytime you boot up your console or attempt to play your game? What about that fancy cross save feature? What about all that future DLC? You know the stuff that used to come on the disc but we are now charged for? Now I understand that not all internet providers are created equal. Is this a good console for rural or mid america gamers? Probably not. If you live in a rural area go with the disc drive version itll save you a bunch of headaches. But if you live in a city or near a major metropolitan area this would be the perfect travel console. No 300+ pristine condition disks to lug around. Just a console, power cable, ethernet cable and controller. Is it priced a bit high? Maybe. I think that once they lower the price of the disk drive version to $249 and the price of the DL only to $199, if theres a 500GB version out like this already maybe grab one of those instead. The issue with that one though is that games are so large today that you wouldn't possibly have enough space for a ton of them, Microsoft Game Pass does make it a bit easier with the lower storage capacity but then it becomes a "how good of internet do I have" problem. Do I think that would be great price point to jump in on. Sure but not if your internet sucks. Does the bundle of games included with this make the additional 50 not that hard to swallow. Yep, especially if you dont have them already. And if you do just sell the codes or give them to a little kid in your family to see them smile.

Hey there,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. We agree, it's a great option for gamers who don't need or want to game with physical discs. However, if someone has a large library of Xbox games on disc or doesn't have a fast internet connection, then we strongly recommend getting a standard Xbox One S or Xbox One X instead. We hope you and your family has a lot of fun with your new Xbox!
Happy gaming,
Chuck

I bought this for my nephew during the holiday sales for $150! Kids and discs don’t mix well together so the digital only doesn’t bother him or my sister. 1TB is plenty of memory for him and he’s already got the game pass to play all his favorite games. For the price this was an excellent purchase. Would recommend for any gamer that’s isn’t bothered by digital only purchases.

For the price it’s a steal. Big hard drive to hold plenty of games. The fact it doesn’t accept disks doesn’t bother me because playing downloaded games is my preference anyways. You don’t have to take the time to find a disc etc. Most of our movie watching is streamed also so I don’t miss the Blu-ray player. It hasn’t had any problems yet and runs very smooth.

I traded in my previous Xbox so I was without one for a little while. I bought this because it was such a good deal. Only downside was it not having a disc drive which I knew when it was purchased. If you like buying a game for a good value get the disc version. I did get a few digital copies from Microsoft on a good deal.

Got this guy for $150 and I have to say I'm impressed. The console only does 30FPS and doesn't have a disc tray, however my library is all digital anyways. I bought it to link my Windows 10 account to it and all my content transfered seamlessly. For the price point, I would totally pick another one up!

Bought this after not playing video games for over 10 years. Needed something to do during Covid 19 stay at home order. Got it with Game Pass ultimate and have downloaded a dozen or more games with tons of storage left. No more discs either, all digital edition. Very happy with the purchase.

The XBOX ALL DIGITAL was not what we wanted to buy on Black Friday, but the employees' lack of knowledge and the lack of proper advertisement/information lead us to believe this would be a regular XBOX ONE S. The issue is, you CANNOT use disc ware with this item - even if you buy a disc drive, the console itself CANNOT transfer that data into digital data. You need to buy all your games online. This therefore limits the item from being a DVD/Blue Ray player and you cant get those super cheap used games from stores! You will need everything to be purchased through the XBOX Store. I think for the small price difference, we would have bought another XBOX ONE S - NON digital edition. However, we decided to just keep this. I would say it is a fine device, works well, great graphics. But take into consideration the LACK of a disc port, this really makes it difficult if you want it to suit more than gaming purposes. We found the Best Buy employees were not super knowledgeable about this device either. Its just like MicroSoft dropped this console for Black Friday. Apparently MANY people bought this item with the same issues and lack of knowledge being portrayed. I would recommend buying a 2tb + external hard drive, games are big and take up quite a bit of space. Hard drive will increase your space for sure!

Hey Audrey,
We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox One S All-Digital Edition for the most part. Investing in an external hard drive to expand your storage space is an excellent suggestion, too. Just to clarify, it's not necessary to purchase games only through Microsoft Store; Xbox digital games are also available from BestBuy.com. We hope you have a lot of fun with your new Xbox console.
Hope that helps,
Chuck

Easy to set up. Took some time to download the digital version of the games as we live in a rural are with poor satellite service. Like that we can use this device to watch YouTube TV. Games that came with console are good but you do need xbox gold subscription to play Fortnite.
