Excellent game with a masterful balance of resource strategy and tactical combat. Difficult yet rewarding. However, the Switch versions from long load times, frame rate drops, and game crashes every so often. The game however is one of the best of its class and will leave you feeling like a true Commander leading Earth's final resistance against total Alien subjugation.

I'm a big fan of strategy games and can't believe I'm just now playing this. The game has so much depth that I never expected. I don't think i'll have the time to master it, but defiantly will play this one all the way through. Lots of fun to play. Only downside is some of the load times. I recommend saving fairly often. My game has crashed once. Other than that this game is better than I expected.

I can't believe we have XCOM 2 and war of the chosen can be played at Switch. I have competed the game multiple times at PC and this is a great way for me to play this game on the go with Switch. Having said that the graphic and frame rate is heavily reduced to make it playable on Switch but the there is no compromise on the gameplay or the experience on the handheld. If you do want to play on big screen then I would not recommend it for you.

This is the full Xcom 2 experience on switch all the expansion packs are here along with all game features and content nothing's been taken out the graphics are toned down slightly but honestly the graphics are still great and I can't tell much of a difference between switch and PS4 Also the cut scenes look amazing There's some slight slowdown in some parts of the game with heavy activity but nothing major overall Xcom 2 looks and runs great on switch I highly recommend it

The game is fun but the frame drops created me lot of problems. Load times are too long . the game run most of the time -30 framerate;but a lot of time drops until 10 FPS at least . I had a lot of frustration throughout the whole game that makes it impossible for me to recommend.

This is a great stratagy game with good graphics and a lot of battlefield and base management. I previously played the base game on PS4 and that version also had long loading screens, although they seem a bit longer here on the Switch. I highly recommend this game.

I'm an avid gamer but it took a bit to understand some of the building elements but after my first playthrough I got the hang of the game. Super fun, super unforgiving. No matter your skill level this game demands your full attention. If you think fire emblem us fun, give this a try.

ok first the entire game is NOT on the game cartridge. A mandatory 24GB download of the game is required to play it but the games are awesome!!! I'm having a great time with this game have to use your brain with this one Fun game!!

You're going to spend a lot of time looking at loading screens on the Switch. Otherwise, it runs decently on the platform and is highly addictive.

Extremely solid game if you enjoy strategy and tactical RPGs. However, PS4 version is superior, and Switch version requires a hefty download of about 24GB even with the cartridge.

People always said xcom would run crappy on the switch but I beg to differ. It has some clipping issues but runs pretty well for my tastes. And it is still brutally difficult.

Its good. its the full Xcom 2 experience on switch but its biggest problems is that its UI is so small at a point where you have to squint to read it you cant make it bigger and then you couple that with a low resolution its not great especially on switch lite Ive played it on PC before and i would recommend getting it for PC or playing it on a laptop for on go gaming heck even the ps4 or xbox versions are probably better or wait for steamdeck it should be able to run it atleast better that the switch

Xcom 2 contains the main campaign and all the dlc that has been released to date. Having the game on a portable system like Switch is very nice and runs well on Switch.

It's X-Com2 on a portable console! Everything works flawlessly in handheld mode. Recommend the cart instead of digital because of the massive install size.

Original XCOM from the nineties was hard. This one continues the tradition. Sure I Buy some mods or upgrade my soldiers to win easier but where is the fun in that? My squad needs to improve through hard one lessons like flank or globe flanked, reload or run, and overwatch is better than you think. Nonetheless, there I was killing my entire squad on the first mission, twice. Am I an idiot or veteran of XCOM? Nothing of value has come easy to me in life and neither will beating this game. I am so excited to play again if my wife sets down the switch after playing animal crossing.

I played this game when it first released on PS4, and noticed some general bugs like enemies clipping through the floor. The game is playable and fun but it’s disappointing to see that all these years since its release they haven’t actually gone in and polished it up. It was worth the $20 I spent for it on sale, but not full price by any means, even with all the DLC packed in.

The game is a pretty great port, my only gripe is that it can get a little choppy at times.

One of my all time favorite games. If you like turned base strategy games, this is the game for you.

Very fun game for the switch. Kinda like FF tactics. Suitable for strategy game players.

Nedd to play it more. Game is very tough and very strategic.
