A: No, the box doesn't come shrink wrapped. I've had the same problem with trying to find one that is in good shape. It seems rather difficult. You are right though that the box is really nicely done. It's a shame that finding an undamaged one is so hard to do.

A: @WalkingDad, I saw the picture in other places, including the reveal during the Direct. I'm only asking about it on this site since I got my pre-order from this site and (silly as it may seem) it feels a little less official without the picture. I''m not worried about the pre-order since it shows up in the "my orders" tab, but I wouldn't mind seeing the picture when I check on it.
A: It should say in your order. Typically Best Buy ships after release day (like Amazon). Unless you have an Best Buy Elite membership? They get free shipping and release day.
