    A Blazing JRPG Quest

Firstly, the Xbox port comes in a wonderful steel package featuring artwork of the main cast. It's smooth, durable and comes with DLC to redeem if you're interested to get more out of your sealed purchase. It runs smoothly, even on 30fps, to assure your cinematic action experience doesn't lose its pacing with disruptive bugs and slowdowns. Thankfully, you could play both Xbox One and Series versions separately, for free, without having to rebuy the game! Now, appreciating this title requires previous knowledge of the Yakuza franchise especially with its main protagonist. The story stands out on its own but has more flair if you're familiar with the setting and journey this character experiences with his allies. It follows Ichiban Kasuga on his quest to repay favors and reclaim what he's lost after being framed for a crime he didn't commit. Like the plot? Then prepare yourself for a deeper story because it's not without the avalanche of surprises and exciting scenery as passionate fans of the Yakuza series would expect. You'll travel to and from numerous familiar and fresh destinations that requires near total open-world exploration to gain knowledge, abilities, resources and partners to help Ichiban succeed. But don't rush into this game expecting it to be too similar to the previous mainline entries. It's indeed another spinoff that takes creative liberties with its format. It's not the traditional button-mashing street brawler that legacy fans are familiar with. Instead, in a bold move, it combines those mechanics with expanded RPG elements that requires players to select their moves carefully, and separately, to survive longer. Yes, it'll feel weirdly intimidating from breaking tradition, admittedly to a fault for setting expectations too high, but cleverly adds its own creative input so you don't entirely feel duped for giving this game a chance. Practice doesn't inherently make perfection here but adjusting to the style is vital to see the end of the story. However, don't be discouraged to explore for numerous activities to get the most out of it. No, surprises won't be spoiled but you'll be surprised to know how much content you'll unlock later if you decide to complete everything. There's simply too much content to mention, as the other Yakuza entries, that'll keep you glued to the screen for hours in this Japanese tale. It's not just a Yakuza game - it's a blazing JRPG quest.

    MUST PLAY @60FPS

This is by definition a VideoGame. Balanced and engaging story. Good progression and likable characters. Turn Based combat adapted to modern day fighting styles, very New. I LOVE it! Best Game to explore turn based combat for audiences that steer away from RPGs (Myself). Best played at 60FPS. This game is like Final Fantasy but with modern dialogue. And soap opera, NETFLIX-series attention grasp. Enjoyable in a way thats completly non-stressful on the player. Its not intimidatingly over complex. Game designers take note on this Masterpiece from SEGA. Not all gamers consider stress inducing games enjoyable. I always wonder why stress-heavy games is considered a feature in game design. Even if so, YAKUZA Like A Dragon is Balanced to perfection!

You could spend hundreds of hours playing this, between its lengthily campaign and myriad side-quests. It’s a great value at the discounted price Best Buy offers it for.

    Lots of soul and humor

Game already comes in a steelbook and another one is actual thrown in which is why I love best buy for games. Its a great game especially for rpg lovers and anime fans. The story is engaging and the side quests can be HILARIOUS. The fighting is now down as turn based instead of the previous games button mashing and honestly I like it more this way.
