Customer Ratings & Reviews

We have installed more than 4 Yale Assure 2 locks. The set up for them is relatively straight forward. The app is very reliable. Though we only recently installed this lock, the only curious thing about the ones I have installed is that the battery life though reasonable - more than three months - seems to be somewhat short. It may be due to notifications (the door is ajar, opened, closed, unlocked, locked). This is also one of the best features. We always know when the doors are locked/unlocked and by whom. You can also lock or unlock your door for guesses during an event at your home. If you ever forget to lock your doors, you can easily know the status (locked/unlocked) by looking at your app which can be added to your Home on the Apple IOS platform. The only concern I had was that on the instruction it stated that that the handles had to be installed with the slots in one side, when they actually were to be installed differently. Installing them as stated in the instructions would have had the lever handles facing the door jam, where the door opens and shuts, instead of away from the door jam. The only reason I knew to ignore this was by experience - though I second guessed myself for about 20 minutes before switching the levers.

The Yale Assure Lock 2 Smart Lock exceeded my expectations with its reliable WiFi range and easy installation process. Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided. Once installed, I was impressed by the lock’s consistent connectivity, allowing me to control it seamlessly from anywhere in my home. Its reliability gave me peace of mind, knowing that my home was secure at all times. Overall, I highly recommend the Yale Assure Lock 2 for anyone seeking a smart lock that delivers on both performance and ease of use.

We purchased this lock to replace an older version of the Yale Smart Lock. Easy to install and easier to use then the older version. You are able to customize pin numbers on this version. Also comes with a key lock - which makes me feel better about having an electronic lock! Good purchase and upgrade was definitely worth it. Lock is a little smaller the older version, so will have to paint around the lock to match.

After reading reviews and endless searching I decided to purchase this lock as I liked the App unlock feature. So far I am very pleased with this lock it was easy to install and has worked flawlessly. I would absolutely recommend this lock to anyone.

It was hard finding the exact model in stock, since there are about ten different ways you can get this lock. I got the one with wifi, a physical number pad, and a key. It was fairly easy to install and get set up!

Works perfectly. Smaller profile that most other locks and directions were clear and concise! App accompanies the lock perfectly and connects to Alexa with the rest of my products for ease of access.

This lock is sleek & super easy to install & very reasonably priced. The lock & mechanisms glide effortlessly to the point I keep checking to make sure it’s locked properly because it is just that smooth. I did struggle getting it connected to the app. I had to reset multiple times to get it to work. But once I did, it worked like a charm. If you need to replace your smart lock, I highly recommend this one.

Very nice looking, good quality and a very easy to use smart lock. Take a bit more battery power compared to what was advertised. I find replacing the batteries in just around close to 2 months. Just use rechargeable batteries.

I would not recommend it, too over priced. works but do not get it for the wifi feature sucks, the battery runs out fast too.. If you want wifi buy something else better battery but its fine for Bluetooth access.

Use a friendly instruction super easy install. I have them on all the homes now.

Installation is easy and the lock works well. The iPhone application is useful.

One of the best purchases I've made for my home. So far, love it!

Love it. It's so easy to install. My family is so happy with this purchase.

The app makes it the best, opening it with the app, closing it, checking to see if it's open, allowing access for family and friends, a true upgrade. Love it!

The workers very efficient and professional in all aspects

It’s good but not a durable product for its price. After just 2 month, the lock starts having issues and doesn’t send codes automatically.

Not satisfied wrong metal mount is too small snd i am extremely disappointed

I absolutely love the Yale Assure Lock 2! It has made coming and going so much easier for my family. The installation was straightforward, and the setup process was quick and user-friendly. The keypad is responsive, and I love not having to carry or worry about my keys anymore. Being able to unlock the door with a code is incredibly convenient, especially when my hands are full or when I need to let family or guests in without handing out a physical key. The lock has been reliable, works smoothly every time, and gives me peace of mind knowing my home is secure. It also has a sleek, modern look that really upgraded the appearance of my front door. If you're looking for a smart lock that's easy to use, dependable, and makes everyday life more convenient, I highly recommend the Yale Assure Lock 2. It's one of the best home upgrades I've made.

I use these in my home, and frequently test and review Alexa, Google, and Apple home functionality products. This one is compatible with all of them and is easy to install. The lock can also be re-keyed by a locksmith if you want to use an existing key, but I recommend doing that before actually installing it on the door since it can be a little annoying to remove after it is installed. The battery lasts a few months and I just use some rechargeable AA batteries

Love the convenience and security of the Yale Assure Lock 2. Easy to use, looks great, and works flawlessly—but the batteries need replacing more often than expected. Still worth it!
