A: Yes it has a pedal. It's really a nice keyboard and the sound and feeling of the keys are just like a piano. It has a computer hook up too which makes it easy for me to take lessons on line.

A: You can hook the keyboard to a computer and record that way.
A: Mine does not have that key business going on. I would assume that it's a defect and you should return it and get another. Overall I have really liked mine and have no complaints. Good luck going forward.
