I purchased these speakers to put on my back patio. I wanted to get something that was on the lower end of the price range as we don't use them a lot. Once I got them hooked up, I was amazed at the sound. I am powering them with a small class-d amp that's hooked to an AirPlay device. The bass isn't the strongest I've heard in outdoor speakers but it's more than sufficient. Highs are clear and I've been able to crank them up with little to no distortion. Installation is a snap, I'd recommend these to a friend.

My wife and I brought these for our covered patio, pool area. They sound excellent, very loud and good quality. For the price, we were highly surprised. I would recommend these to anyone that is looking for something simple and nice for their covered patio. We receive lots of complements from our friends, and it makes us use our patio and pool area much more.

These speakers sound great for their size. They are very easy to install and can be installed up and down or side to side. Definitely recommend.

I actually replaced an older version of these that had been outside in the elements for about 6 years that finally needed to be replaced. These are great for the price. They sound great and if they are anything like the ones they replaced, they should last for many years in the harsh outdoor weather above my hot tub. They are well made and durable looking with a nice mounting bracket system.

I wired these Yamaha outdoor speakers in series with my Samsung loud speakers to give my garage sound system a nice natural sound that is awesome for movies.

I installed the two out door speakers in our back yard as that where we spend most of our time in the summer. We like the sound and they actually blend in fairly nice where I installed them. We bought them back in June and we had some severed weather with a lot of rain and they never skipped a bit! One hangs under some branches in the pond area, and the other on the side of my tool shed. So far they have been pretty hardy. They are on all day long 6 days a week. I will be buying 2 more for this coming Spring/ Summer.

I bought a house that was prewired for surround sound, and each speaker location had a wall plate where the wire was. I found mounts on the internet that allowed you to use the wall plates to secure a speaker on the wall, however, I wasn't set on what speakers I wanted to get. I also wanted to avoid using in-wall speakers, as you can loose sound in the wall, as well as I wanted to avoid sawing, and patching. I lucked out I and found these in an open box section of Best Buy. I looked at the back bracket and saw these would perfectly fit on a wall plate, with some rigging. I just bought some special screws at the hardware stores, and used metal washers to secure the speakers. The speakers sound fantastic, and are crystal clear. It even produces some good bass, if you don't have a subwoofer. These would do well for an indoor or outdoor installation. You won't be disappointed with the sound produced from these things!

Great sound from these little speakers. The have held up great to direct sun, rain and other weather over the last 10 months. Definitely worth the money for a reliable pair of deck or backyard speakers. Not built for strong base response, but that shouldn't be why you are buying these. I only push around 40 watts per speaker and they sound great (plenty loud enough) and no distortion.

This is the 2nd set i purchased. The first set still works, but this set i bought is the larger one. These are easy to install and they are really durable and they hold up to weather nicely. They sound great too! I can get pretty loud with these when I need to!

These are great for a small patio! They've proved themselves as outdoor speakers as the heat/humidity/rain here in Miami FL is intense. overall great buy for the money. If you want something around the same size with more boom go for the Sonance Mariners for about $300. But for the price of these Yamaha'sand size I'm impressed.

Was a lil worried bout how they would sound considering how small they were. I was pleasantly surprised with quality of sound these lil things put out. Handles bass well without distortion. A breeze to install on side of garage.

Have these speakers outside in my 3 car garage, hooked up to my onkyo 5.2 they sound extremely good for how small they are, and how big of a room they're in. I would have rated 5 stars, but the brackets were a little annoying. Over all, great sound, and even better price. Highly recommend.
