Adds a crucial dimension to the home theater system. I have a dolby certified sound bar but the external hookup needed the extra "umph" and "kick" to add the surround component to the sound. I love this added completed system and now I can say my setup is complete!

Great little sub so far. I use it primarily for music in my man cave, and it has offer a very solid performance for the price so far. The adjustable gain makes it very versatile. Have not used it for movies yet, but I think it will sound great.

Needed a very compact subwoofer. This was one of the most compact 8" subwoofers that I could find that wasn't extremely expensive and had good reviews on the internet. I see why; it's a great subwoofer. Use it for my 5.1 surround system in my condo and it provides great bass

We had to get a new sound receiver and our old sub-woofer wouldn't work with the new receiver so we got this sub-woofer. It's great! It's the perfect size and the sound is awesome!!!

Smaller size, but produces sufficient bass for my use. Fit's nicely in corner, ported on side.... On/Off switch in back, has light (in back) that glows when powered. Overall, very happy with purchase. Wasn't available in store, but was shipped, well packaged and reasonable shipping.

I purchased this Yamaha sub-woofer to match some excellent Yamaha NS-7.2 speakers that I have had for 40+ years, It was very easy to hook up into my system and once I had the volume adjusted the total sound was perfect. The fact that it was very reasonably priced helped my wallet.

I installed a surround sound system with six speakers in a new outside pavilion. The sound was greatly improved with the addition of this sub-woofer. I have an older Yamaha sub-woofer for my indoor stereo and have always been happy with it.

I had the previous model for about 6 years and the amp just blew out on it. It was a great speaker so I bought this one to replace it. Hooked it up and set the power to slightly above midrange as this is where I had the previous one and I actually had to turn it down a bit as the bass was to much for normal TV.

Very easy to set up. Volume control on the back is perfect to adjust to your desire.

I had a great home theatre set up at home. Just missing a Sub. The Yamaha - 8" 50W Powered Subwoofer was exactly what I needed. Compact in size and provides excellent lows when paired with my Sony Receiver. It is surprisingly powerful for only 50 watts. Gives me exactly what I need. Nothing more nothing less.

This sub is AWESOME!! I bought another and my living room now sounds like a theater! Easy controls and hook up.

I have been happy with the great rich smooth bass and great lows that matches up with my system. Plus it just looks cool! For the on/off I just hooked the plug in into remote switch on/off electrical plug on outlet. 50w was more then enough power for a mid size to small room, I actually had to turn down the “dbs” on the receiver to match it up with my Onkyo 686, 5.1 system so the bass wouldn’t overwhelm the sound. Very happy!

What an excellent subwoof. I just love the crisp sound and power that this subwoof put out while watching a movie or listening to music is amazing. It delivers.
