Limited deluxe edition vinyl LP pressing. True to it's title, 2002's Caution immediately demands the listener's undivided attention. With a unique blend of heartfelt punk, guttural rock, and explorative neo-hardcore, Hot Water Music shirks categorization on Caution. Immediate and infectious on InchTrusty Chords,Inch a feral rocker that works off a pop blueprint, the band emphasizes variety as it glides into the rhythm-steeped InchOne Step To SlipInch and the cathartic InchI Was On A Mountain.Inch Further demonstrating HWM's depth, Caution sees the band careen from the circle-pit stylings of InchWayfarerInch to the subtle yet frenetic underpinning of InchAlright For NowInch with artful management. InchWe've never tried to be anything but what we are,Inch say's bassist Jason Black. InchMusically, we've never wanted to define ourselves at all.Inch And in keeping with that assessment, the Gainesville, FL foursome differs from virtually every other band making punk-inspired sounds in the new millennium. On Caution - the group's second for Epitaph - HWM drives home the point that music should be more about substance and skill and less about red hair dye.

Vinyl LP pressing. Thrice created Palms with a free-form and fluid approach to the album's sonic element. The result is their most expansive work to date, encompassing everything from viscerally charged post-hardcore to piano-driven balladry. To carve out that eclectic sound, Thrice enlisted trusted producer Eric Palmquist for the recording of the percussion and vocal tracks, and self-produced all of the guitar parts on Palms. InchWhen we track our own stuff we tend to be far less neurotic about getting every note perfect,Inch says singer Dustin Kensrue. InchIt's more about getting the right emotion out of the performance, so that it connects on a deeper level.Inch Album Tracks 1. Only Us 2. The Grey 3. The Dark 4. Just Breathe 5. Everything Belongs 1. My Soul 2. A Branch in the River 3. Hold Up a Light 4. Blood on Blood 5. Beyond the Pines
