Q: Is it possible to purchase a windshield suction mount for this Dash Cam?
A: I shopped around and have not found a suction cup for this camera. Great camera and have purchased 2 others. Hope u find one.
Q: Why is this dash cam cheaper on Amazon? I don’t get it.
A: It's not, this unit comes with a 32GB SD card, the unit on Amazon does not come with an SD card. Therefore the Amazon unit is not cheaper.
A: Videos may be downloaded from the micro SD card or from the APP. Videos on the card will be overwritten so no need to delete any. There is no batteries. This is a capacitor camera.
Q: Does this dashcam have front and rear camera - both? I didn't find any mention about rear camera.
A: It doesn't have a rear camera.
Q: Is this camera good for parking security?
A: No, this camera will be powered off once car engineer is off too.
A: You may load up to 64G micro SD card.
Q: How would this work on a Razer? Could it take the bumps??
A: Maybe. It seems decently made. The issue is finding the right kind of vibration dampening that keeps the vibration load mostly within what the device can tolerate and what is a visually useful output. There are many ways to do this on the internet. Any hardware store has silicone squares of different thicknesses that can be placed between a mount and the camera. Or, even use an Alex caulk, of various densities, to make your own custom shaped cussions.
Q: Are dashcams legal in all states?
A: I can't speak for all states, but the ones I've lived in, Texas and Florida, they were legal. I highly recommend you Google that question either for all states, or for your specific state to find out for sure. I will say there's no logical reason for them to be illegal, but there's always some random laws out there.
