Plus for what I paid and the box it comes in with the soundtrack and art book well thats an easy way to add to someone's collection even if ur not a fan just the box is nice on a shelf

This is the second Y's game I have played, the first being Y's 8 on the Switch. This isn't the newest game in the series and actually comes before 8. Memories of Celceta is a port of the PS Vita version of the game and I must say they translated it pretty well, but it still feels like it should be played on a handheld to me. I really wish they would have ported it to the Switch instead as Y's 8 did very well on it. That said, the graphics have improved from the original version and the soundtrack is amazing. Again, this is an older game in the series, so I don't hold somethings again it. The battle system is not as refined as.in Y's 8 for example, but it.still is free flowing and fast. I recommend this if you enjoyed any of the other Y's games or are a fan of non turn-based RPGs. It reads kind of similar to 8 (vice versa?) As you find yourself exploring and mapping a large area full of treasure and monsters. You woll search for lost memoroes.as the story brings you deeper into the folds of the series. Again, I am enjoying this and really.hope the future games.get Switch releases so I can choose.to be handheld or.play on television.

A port from the PlayStation Vita to the PS4 and PC. This is a great game for people that love or are just getting into action JRPGs. The combat is great, the story is good, and the characters are enjoyable. It should also be highlighted that the Ys series (and all Nihon Falcom games in general) is know for its amazing soundtracks, just look it up on YouTube and you’ll see. This series definitely needs more attention that’s how underrated it is.

The Ys series is vastly underrated and consistently great. And this package comes with all kinds of goodies, for only $40. It's a no brainer for ARPG fans. It comes with the game, a full color manual, a compilation soundtrack CD with songs from the series, and 12 postcard sized character cards. The back of the cards have a section of the game map on them, so you can put them all together to make a big map! The ONLY thing to point out as a potential negative is the fact that this is a pretty straightforward port of the original Vita game. No new content was added, and graphically it looks pretty dated (the Vita game released in 2012 in Japan), but the game itself is still great to play, and the soundtrack is top tier, as it is in every Ys game.

Definitely recommend for fans of the series, like Ys VIII, this PS4 version of the Vita game has great story/characters and soundtrack, and decent graphics (not amazing, since it is a Vita port, but good).

What we have in Ys: Memories of Celceta is a game that has dated graphics and an okay presentation, but phenomenal music and gameplay. This is one of the finest action JRPGs I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Don’t let its immediate blandness fool you, this is a must play that should stand by giants like The Legend Of Zelda and Final Fantasy series. It’s only 2/3 the price of an average game, and comes with a soundtrack and art cards. What more could you ask for?

This is the best way to play Celceta, runs much smoother and looks much cleaner on PS4. This is an amazing game, it follows the format of later YS games like Seven and VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana where you have AI party members who fight with you that you can quickly switch between. If you're a fan of any of the Ys games then don't skip out on this one. If you've never played any than this is a great place to jump in.

This game has fun combat and great music. Even though some dialogue is voice acted there's still a lot of reading,so be prepared for that. It's a PS vita port so graphics can sometimes look a little funny, but if you enjoy action RPG's I recommend getting it. It also comes with a plenty of extras in box, which is not a bad deal considering the cheap price. Paid the same for some ports and got WAY less if anything at all!

I am a fan of majority of Falcom's games as they always have a good story and fun gameplay. This game is one of my favorite in the series as i have played almost all of them that are in the west at least. Worth it if you like action combat instead of turn based combat. Just check it out if you like RPG's you wont be disappointed.

Ys is a treat action RPG franchise mixing arcade action with rpg mechanics and adventure design. Memories of Celceta is a remaster of an older Vita game, so the presentation and graphics are not as good as the latest entries but the gsmeplay, music, and design are great. Worth the time.

Cant believe I waited so long to get this... Literally top 3 of best ps4 hidden gems. Awesome story and exciting gameplay that keeps you hooked. Anime style with graphics a bit dated you forget about it after you get a feel for the action style fighting.

This is Falcom's version of Ys 4. This action role playing game finally comes to console. Nice graphics, great music and sound, updated for PS4, but keep in mind it's still a Vita game at it's heart. Worth picking up if you're a fan and even if you're not. Might be harder to locate down the road, so pick up that copy now while you still can. Recommended.

Very fun ys game. I would recommend playing this game first before starting ys viii on nintendo switch. This game does have a few bugs, but it doesn't ruin the game. The game does have old school rpg style, but story is great.

Ys games have always been consistently made with tight controls and a lighthearted, but interesting story. For a game that was originally released several years ago on the PlayStation handheld, it looks and plays fairly well and can be recommended easily to most JRPG fans, especially those who love me action RPGs

I really like the box set and is very premium considering the price. The game is decent with some interesting story but much more recent Y's games are much better. Still great though.

This is a re-release of an older game from the Vita. The performance is much better on the PS4. The goodies included are nice for the price point. Recommended for any Ys or action RPG fans.

For the price and all the cool extra physical items makes it worth it. And the game itself is awesome, while it is a handheld port. Its still a good experience.

While not quite as good as YS VIII, this game is a lot of fun to play and has an amazing soundtrack. Would recommend to anyone who liked previous YS games.

Despite being an older game the gameplay holds up great and the story is fantastic as always
