Soli Deo Gloria, Latin for InchGlory to God Alone,Inch is the new 10-track collaborative album from NYC wordsmith Homeboy Sandman and Sonnyjim, UK's double threat who sets aside his rapping prowess to focus entirely on production. The title isn't just a nod to the sacred; it's a declaration of purpose. This is hip-hop without compromise - razor-sharp lyricism laid bare over smoky, sample-rich grooves. Recorded with raw intensity and zero filler, Soli Deo Gloria brings together two of rap's most distinctive voices. Sonnyjim crafts a cinematic soundscape steeped in jazz, soul, and vintage grit while Homeboy Sandman delivers verses packed with honesty, humor, and hard-earned wisdom. Each track feels like a moment carved from marble - meditative, unflinching, and timeless. It's minimalist and masterful - no guests, no gimmicks, just two artists operating at their highest level. More than a collection of songs, Soli Deo Gloria plays like a reflection on purpose, presence, and personal freedom. InchWhatever happens is supposed to happen. So relax. Read. Never give up. Lead with love. Be yourself and love yourself,Inch Homeboy Sandman concludes. Album Tracks 1. Books 2. Most Realest 3. Nothing Less 4. Cant Stop Me 5. Not a Killer 6. Do You Love Me? 7. Yvonnick Prené's mission is to put the harmonica in it's rightful place in the pantheon of instruments used to improvise. He makes a convincing case on his new recording, Listen!, as he eschews the trumpet in the classic jazz quintet setting and replaces it with the chromatic harmonica. // Prené chose a dream ensemble for his recording. Prené loves saxophonist Dayna Stephen's magical sound, which he likens to the angular approach of Wayne Shorter. Drummer Bill Stewart has been a longtime favorite and Prené felt that his singular conception of time and sound was just right for this project. Prené met pianist Kevin Hays while at the New School and has always appreciated the pianist's unique voice that regards the tradition reverently, but with a certain freedom. Friend Clovis Nicolas holds the rhythm section the rhythm section together with his fluid bass playing. Prené invited trumpet great Jeremy Pelt to help produce and direct session. Album Tracks 1.
