A: Hello Flewnvy, I bought this for my iPad pro and it detaches very very easily from the keyboard. The case has two groves to help line the keyboard up but it holds on by magnets so no problem separating the two pieces. Sometimes it's difficult to line it up but being just magnets you can just slide the bumps into the groves very easily. I really enjoy using my iPad without the keyboard as well but when I need that extra protection it's no problem to reattach that keyboard without annoying difficulty. There are lots of options to consider when choosing a case as I'm sure you're well aware. From my personal experience the worry of detaching and attaching the keyboard with this case hasn't been one of them. I hope this helps!
Q: I just bought this today and wondering if it contains the USB cord to charge it
A: No it does not come with a charging cable. For the price of the unit it should.
Q: Will this rugged book work with my IPad Air 4 generation 10.9”
A: It will but not well. It holds the power button and the volume buttons are not where they need to be. But other than that it works great.
A: The 97$ one is for the 1st generation iPad pro and the 149$ one is for the 2nd generation iPad pro (and will fit the 1st Gen). The 149$ has a larger cutout for the camera and light.
A: I bought this case for the 2nd generation of ipad pro 11”, it fits perfectly as it was designed to fit the bevel around this models camera. The previous model ipad will fit just fine but due to it’s single camera, it will be noticeable that the case is only compatible but not actually meant for the 1st generation. The old ipad 11 and new ipad 11 are basically the same except for a strip on the back of the tablet and the shape of the bevel around the camera.
