This case works perfectly with the new iPad pros and the new Apple Pencil. Allowing for the pencil to be connected and charging with the iPad at all times. I’m not sure why but Best Buy’s product description really misses the mark with the features on this one. It does have a sleep wake function as well as being type c-usb for charging. Which is such a huge nicety being that the new iPad pros also use type C charging cables. The protection is great and the battery life on the keyboard seems to be endless. The function keys have created a whole new experience while using my iPad. As well as the keyboard being back lit with 7 different colors to spice it up, being anywhere from off- to very bright there seems to be about 4 brightness levels. Would recommend buying to anyone and you get the Zagg guarantee without paying the Zagg high price!! Just do it! When mouse compatibility gets added this will be an unstoppable duo!

Keyboard types ok, most of the time. Case does protect the iPad but is bulky. Fold out support hinge, on one side, broke off after a few uses. Not worth wasting the $

As others have experienced, the plastic hinges for the stand suffer from poor design. I am on my 4th cover (3 Zagg warranty replacements), but I am not inclined to continue paying shipping to replace. I have been otherwise satisfied with the cover and keyboard and will look for another method to prop it up.

Case is 6 months old. Articulating stand piece on the back broke already. I am going to have to buy a new one because this is the only one I can find that detaches from keyboard while still holding the Apple Pencil.

Was going to buy the logitech keyboard for my ipad pro bc everyone seems to be scooping up that one. I decided on the zagg bc i realized it had more features than the logitech. Namely, the ability to be set in any position with the friction stand instead of just one position as with the logitech. Also, the keyboard is backlit and can switch thru 7 colors and can adjust the brightness too. The logitech is bscklit also but thats all i know on that. The biggest reason i purchased the zagg over the logitech was bc you can detach the keyboard which catapults its positional capacity over the logitech. SOLD.

My last iPad had a Zagg cover/keyboard and my only complaint was the weight. So when I bought a new iPad I didn’t hesitate to buy a new Zagg cover/keyboard. I bought it to travel with but I bought the iPad just before COVID shut down my travel. Since I wasn’t traveling, I didn’t really use the keyboard much, so I’m not including the keyboard as part of my review. In a years period, I’m am on my second case (which I had to pay for shipping in a replacement case), and both cases did the exact same thing in 3 months time. The plastic pieces that hinge to make the cover be able to stand has broken making it unable to stand on its own. This would’ve been much worse had I used the keyboard, because I didn’t use the stand up piece everyday. I have several cracks in my screen, despite dropping only one with no damage from the drop, and I do believe it is because of the ways I have to pick up the iPad because of the case. So I have my iPad less than a year old, with a replacement Zagg cover that is totally useless, no protection and no way to stand it up. And I won’t go back to a company a second time.

DO NOT BUY! This product claims to be military standard drop resistant at 6.6 ft. Mine fell 18 inches off a chair and the iPad screen shattered. I attempted to contact ZAGG about this and they never responded. Scam!

I am in total shock that I could even find this here! Especially since it says coming soon on the Official Zagg site. It was also cheaper here than it mentions on Zagg. Now as far as this case goes it is perfect! And there's definately a big improvement on the weak magnet issue the Slim Book Pro has! Another big improvement is the apple pencil holder is on top and covered to protect it! Oh and also the keyboard is elevated when attached which makes it so easy on the wrists when typing! So happy I found it here. A++

I held off on buying a keyboard case when I upgraded to iPad Pro 11” until Zagg released the Rugged Book Go Keyboard Folio for it, and I am so glad that I did! There are three things that I love about it: 1-the keyboard is easy to connect with Bluetooth and easy to use for typing, 2-The unique design of the stand folds out from the base of the iPad case and is stable so that in very little space the iPad can stand up without worries that it will fall over, and 3-strong magnets hold the keyboard securely to the iPad case, but it is also easy to separate the iPad from the keyboard when you want it separated. Additionally, since the keyboard is attached to the iPad case it feels almost like a laptop, and it takes less space to use compared to most iPad keyboards. You can even type with it in your lap. I like the protection that the case gives to the iPad. The only disadvantage I can think of is that this keyboard folio is somewhat heavier than most, but it is not a significant difference to me.

Over all I have been happy with the product. It holds a charge for a long time and the keyboard is good and responsive. However the hinge on the unit’s stand broke and it is less than 1/2 year old. I thought I was over buying with how heavy duty it seemed now I know better.

This is a really good setup for you iPad Pro users. It has a space to store the Apple Pencil, it has a long battery life, you can use it without the keyboard, the stand is great for different viewing angles, and the keyboard is pretty decent to type on. The only downside is that I do not like the time that it takes to connect after opening the iPad and its rather bulky when folding it up.

I owned the older version of this case for a 2nd generation iPad. This version is not as rugged as I would like. The two pieces of the case are only held together by magnets, which are not very strong, and I have dropped one half or the other frequently as the magnets release. Molding of the case also doesn't fit perfectly, so it always looks like it's about to come off the iPad, however it hasn't. The way the two pieces hinge together also impedes my ability to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to unlock the device. The keyboard itself connects quickly when you want to use it and is a good size, even for my large hands.

I loved this case and the fact that it could stand up AND have a detachable keyboard. With about a year of having it, and playing with the stand, one day the stand just broke off... not a dealbreaker though, the case was thick and sturdy enough to where I felt really good traveling with my iPad and knowing it will be protected. Still wish I had a stand that lasted as long as the case.

I drop mine a lot so I bought this case. Originally, I had the slim folio which is a lot slimmer and lighter but provides less protection. For this one, it does provide a good protection but it’s kind of too heavy. But still it does its job very well so I’d buy this one instead of the slim folio bc I drop mine A LOT

Zagg did it again, bought this as a gift for my wife’s iPad Pro 11 inch and it fits great and feels great too!! Only con it’s kind of heavy cause of the extra battery! Other than that Awesome Case!!

Buying a tablet and not buying some sore if protecting case is inviting trouble. Zagg makes great protection covers. The tablet will be safe you can be assured but the bulkiness and protection by necessity kills all the beautiful Apple Design. Hence my calling it a necessary evil.

Zagg makes good keyboards for the iPads. I really like this keyboard. I’ve also used the Apple Smart Keyboard and the Logitech. I returned them both. The Apple offers no protection, the Logitech is good but I like keyboards that can be separated from the iPad when not in use, which the Logitech does not do. The only complaint I have with the Zagg is it’s difficult to swipe up from the bottom of the screen when the keyboard is propped open. I still would probably choose this one though if I had it to do over.

The case and keyboard fit and work well. It offered a lot of protection and attaching the keyboard is a nice feature. I ended up returning it because it added a little too much weight for me.

I owned the Slim version of the same type of ZAGG Keyboard before. The noticeable differences are: 1) more robust keyboard with less depth - even with ergonomic angle (more convenient when sitting in your lap), 2) different stylus attachment- not as protected when case is closed, 3) a little less strength in the tablet protector, 4) much stronger magnets (less likely to lose connection when in your lap, 5) rubber grip is larger on kickstand - does not strip away, as does the 2 small grips on the SLIM version. 6) heavier than SLIM (mainly in keyboard). In short, I am glad I upgraded. While I take care of my 11" iPad PRO while mobile, this version seems to be more protective.

I upgraded my iPad with the expectation that it would continue to take the place of a personal laptop, which means a keyboard is necessary. I wanted a keyboard with a wrist rest, not a keyboard with the keys all the way at the front. This case delivers. I was skeptical at first about it coming in two pieces, but now, I LOVE it. When I want to show my husband something, it’s so easy to detach from the keyboard and hand him the iPad. Great battery life, very easy to charge and pair. I like the multicolor backlighting of the keys. I use the function keys ALLLLLL the time. Seriously, this thing was well worth the investment.
