About this product

Ready for your kitchen’s Glo-up? The Tornado Glo’s Perimeter Aspiration System (PAS) features our Glo LED PAS Light Panel to add a touch of gourmet glamor to your kitchen. This chic model keeps the air in your kitchen fresh while illuminating your space with soft light. Featuring Airflow Control Technology (ACT) and liner options for use with a custom canopy.

Features

  • Electronic Touch Controls

Electronic touch controls adjust the range hood blower and LED light levels, and enable the auto delay-off function.

  • Perimeter Aspiration System

This form of ventilation moves airflow away from the central area and evenly distributes it around the perimeter of the hood. This technique increases air velocity and improves the capture of cooking contaminates.

  • Glo LED Panel

The Glo LED PAS Light Panel showcases a built-in Perimeter Aspiration System to keep your kitchen fresh while illuminating your space with soft light.

  • Dual-Level Lighting

The dual-level dimmable LEDs require less energy than traditional halogen lights, are cool to the touch, and provide uniform light distribution.

  • Dishwasher Safe Aluminum Mesh Filter

High-quality, dishwasher-safe aluminum mesh filters for improved capture and performance.

  • Optional Ductless Recirculating Kit

Ductless recirculating kit used when venting air outside your home is not possible. Smoke and odors pass through charcoal filters allowing purified air to be reintroduced into the kitchen. (Part # ZRC-0085)

  • Optional Liner Accessories Part # AK0800AS, AK0836AS

An optional adjustable-depth, stainless steel liner is available to protect your cabinetry and provide a more finished appearance.

Multiple Design Flaws - Avoid this one

We have had numerous issues with the Zephyr Glo. Our first one arrived with the hinge holding the light fixture broken. Additionally, the light was glued to the hinge, which had also separated. Best Buy replaced this with no issues; however, we did note the hinge holding the light is very light and will likely be prone to breaking down the line if the glue doesn't give out first. After using the replacement for about a month, we have found that the grease collected by the fan has collected inside the light fixture making the light unusable. The light itself is unsealed around the edge, so this appears to be a design flaw. Otherwise, the fan seems to work well.
