About this product

One of our founding models, Typhoon is not only good looking but packed with powerful, virtually noise-free 850-CFM blowers. It includes a convenient self-cleaning system along with tri-level LumiLight LED lights that invite you and your guests to a warm respite from the everyday. Available in black, white and stainless steel. Now with Quiet Speed Setting (QSS) and ACT technology.

Features

  • Airflow Control Technology (ACT)

Airflow Control Technology or ACT is an exclusive technology that gives installers the ability to set the maximum CFM levels to meet local code requirements.

  • Capacitive Touch Controls

Capacitive touch controls utilize the same touch technology as your smart phone for a more integrated user interface.

  • Ultra-Quiet Performance

Our range hoods aren't just powerful, they're powerfully quiet, serving up great ventilation free of noise so you can enjoy entertaining family and friends nearby.

  • Longer Warranty Than Competitors

We back our products with an unparallelled level of service and a generous muti-year warranty.

  • Filter-Less Self-Cleaning System

Designed to work without filters, the centrifugal blower wheel pushes air downwards and away from the center, separating cooking vapors and grease from the air. Remaining cooking contaminates are then trapped in a residue tray which drains into residue cups when cleaned. This blower system ensures that the hood is effective, quiet and easy to use.

  • Vertical or Horizontal Ducting

This hood has the ability to vent either out the top or out the back.

  • Multiple Color Options

Multiple colors available to match your kitchen décor.

    Best range hood ever!

Awesome addition to any kitchen. This thing is quiet, moves so much air and is beautiful to look at. Clean up is easy and no filters to fool with. Also the LED lighting is perfect and the controls for the lights and fan are easy and look nice.

    Details/comments: install/product/directions/help

Nice unit, lots of cfm, usable features and touch controls. Like the idea of grease catchers instead of filters; will see how that works. Plastic protective covering was a pain to get off. DO NOT use any metal to take off. In attaching the vent adapter there were not enough screws to fill the holes; needed 4 more. Use aluminum ducting tape to seal the adapter. Check your cabinet depth. Ours was 11.5" and the factory mount hole were showing in the front of the cabinet.(Had to add trim to cover this) We had to drill other holes further back. Before installing check adjacent cabinet door to see if they will clear. In installing the fan covers there were very sketch directions (also for the electrical hookup) on the proper position. This was complicated with the fact that these grills did not fit flush in their openings; quality control. One of the fan hubs was dented. Wondered if this might affect the fans bearing in time. We thought that this range hood, for what we got and was made in Taiwan, was over priced. Did call customer service on these things; did not get a lot of clarifications. ie. there were 3 welded clips on each fan housing; agent did not know what they were for or why there were extra holes in the vent cover to let air escape. Assumed the clips were there for holding wires but nothing mentioned anywhere.

    The best range hood.

Looks great, powerful, quieter than others we tested. The LED lights have three levels of brightness with the high setting being very bright. At 850CFM, there is zero smoke escaping. Highly recommended!
