Price was okay. Looks pretty after installation. But is not quiet. Louder then expected. Does vent out smoke. I would not purchase again due to fan sound.

I am reviewing this hood based on appearance. The hood in the picture looks different than the hood that I received. I had to return it because I needed a different style. However, it looked really nice. I ended up ordering another ZLINE DuraSnow range hood, and I love it.

I've been driving around town looking for a ducted, externally vented range hood for weeks now. I didn't expect to find what I'm looking for on the Web. My son helped me google this thing. It arrived yesterday. We installed it with ease. And now it has improved my kitchen's indoor air quality tenfolds.

Hard to tell if this is a luxury item or not. We thought it is but the price is quite lower than you would ecxpect. But it's definitely a good product. The metal used is apparently of a high-grade. And the electronics are impressively well-made. Installation wasn't a problem.
