I've tried so many well known high end TV speaker brand and soundbars but seriously if you are having difficulty hearing & understanding dialogue this is the soundbar to get. Its inexpensive, compact, but delivers powerful dialogue sound with many different levels to increase the capacity of hearing. Best soundbar in my opinion for hearing dialogue.

Terrific choice for my wife of 60 years. She's extremely hard of hearing, and always has her TV sound at the maximum level of 100. Now, with the Zvox Soundbar, she no longer has to set the volume at 100. Plus, the Clarity of the sound is much improved. Giving this product 5 stars was a no brainer.

We purchased this soundbar after extensive research for my wife's father as he was having issues hearing the dialog from his TV. We set this up at our house before giving it to him to see how well it worked and was very surprised. With the different settings that adjusts the vocal range as well as the bass and treble controls it was very easy to get a great sound from this unit. We set this up on Christmas day for her father and he was thrilled. For the price this is a great soundbar for its intended purpose. It does not have much bass on its own but does have a subwoofer output and includes the needed cable as well as all other cables needed to contact it to the TV. We used the optical cable as there is no HDMI on the soundbar. We will be adding a small 8" powered sub to it and expect it should be the perfect combination. Great soundbar and I would highly recommend it.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my mother. Wasn't the best price and I had my doubts She has a severe hearing loss, and has to use the CC on TV. Once I connected, and was very easy, her eyes lit up, she could hear the dialogue She told me to turn off the CC and stated this was the first time in 4 years she could hear what they are saying. For you? For a loved one? Don't hesitate, you will hear the words!

Sound works well. The only problem is that sometimes when you change channels the sound cuts off. You then need to use the Zvox remote to power off and then on again. Have talked to Zvox tech who told us to send it back and they would replace it. Did that and still happens with replacement.

Bought this unit to hook to tv, to hear voices better. Not perfect, but this unit has helped both my wife and I hear dialog better while watching tv, especially when they decide to add the stupid high drama music to the back round for no reason.

It seems to do what it is supposed to do and that is improve the voice audio. It helps a couple of old hearing impaired folks without having cc streaming across the screen. Good value. Like the multiple sound control options and the very easy hookup. We appreciate the relatively small size and quantity appearance.

Although the sound ranges were very clear and those options are unique, a true sound that includes some base is not present. I can honestly promote this unit for the hearing impaired or for those whose TV has terrible audio, but for the listener who likes a full range of audio (with base) an additional subwoofer is needed.

We watch a lot of movies and all kinds of movies - action, drama, etc. We keep the volume moderate and at times the voices would get lost. Out new TV has speakers in the back, so we needed a soundbar. This ZVOX is wonderful! Even at a moderate volume setting of "10", the sound is balanced. We don't get blasted at loud parts of the movies and the voices come through clean and clear. They say the ZVOX works well for those who are hard-of-hearing. We are not hard-of-hearing, but it works very well for us, too!

I am hearing impaired and AccuVoice is just that. What a difference when watching movies when voices get soft. Small and compact. Not for big room home theater, not long on boom (base). For what you get an excellent price point.

The dialog clarity is much better. Having an issue with the remote but the company is very responsive in resolving the problem.

My hearing is decent thankfully but I get annoyed when commercials or background music is louder than the actors voices even in the best of TVs. This balanced it perfectly without losing any sound quality. Easy set up too!

The accuvoice sound bar has made watching TV a pleasure again. I can adjust the sound volume and clarity level to my specific needs. As a result of increased clarity, I do not need the volume increased, nor do I need to use subtitles to pick up on all the words. I am grateful for the salesperson who let me know such a helpful device existed. I would highly recommend this item to anyone with slight to mild hearing issues.

Does a decent job at making the dialog clearer. Good if you are looking for a small soundbar.

I haven’t had much time using this as it was just installed yesterday. The installers seemed to like it. I’m struggling using the controls to adjust the surround sound, accuvouce, depth of sound and even the volume. It could be batteries but it just got hooked up. Instructions seem clear but something is off. What I do gear I like.

Fantastic. Excellent separation of dialogue and soundtrack. Previously TV voices were very garbled so I would raise the volume. I need the dialogue improved, not the soundtrack amplified. This sound-bar provides that distinctions very well at reasonable volume. One button changes from clearer dialogue to more soundtrack, making it very flexible for multiple users. I have tried other sound-bars, to disappointing results since they did not isolate dialogue well. This product definitely does. I have purchased for each TV.

Full sound. Easy to install and setup. Not just louder, but clear sound. This ZVOX is as good as it gets for a sound bar for the price paid.

We already had a sound bar but I still found the movies to be hard to understand dialogue. With this one it actually highlights the voice part and makes it much easier to understand. It was explained to me that the sound in movies is recorded for more of a surround sound atmosphere and not a focus on the voices. I’m very happy with this.

We used to put out tv volume on 100 and still couldn't hear the dialogue. With this sound bar we can hear all dialogue with the volume set at 13 or lower. We mounted it on our articulating tv wall mount by purchasing an additional kit from Best Buy.
