CORSAIR - VENGEANCE 16GB (1x16GB) DDR5 5600MHz C48 SODIMM Laptop Memory - Black

Compatible with Asus A16 It combines well with the factory ram module and the performance is excellent.

The first time I went into the store to buy laptop memory, I told the sales person I was looking for memory for my gaming laptop. However, I made a mistake and didn't say "gaming laptop", instead mentioned the model of my laptop. I was fairly inexperienced with buying memory for a laptop, so I accepted the item the sales person recommended. Well, the problem was, they didn't ask additional questions to confirm exactly what kind of memory I needed, and instead by memory sticks for a PC. As soon as I got home, and opened it up, I realized the mistake and had to return it of course. I returned it, and bout the correct stick of ram, but again, when I asked the sales person about options, they just grabbed 1 32GB stick. After I got home, opened the laptop, and realized there was two slots I could put memory in, I did a little research on line, and found that due to dual channel it is better to have 2 16GB of ram, than 1 32GB. So, I returned to the store, and returned it and got 2 16 GB sticks. The first thing I would say about this review is, Best Buy, you would save yourself money with returns, by making sure your sales people be a little more inquisitive, and help the customer confirm exactly what they need and want. Unfortunately, after all of that, and getting the 2 sticks of 16GB ram installed, it still didn't boost my gaming laptop enough to handle what I was trying to do with some VR modding. To pay over $400 for just 32GBs of ram and it not boost performance enough is why I gave this product 2 starts, and because of the lack of expert help at Best Buy.

High quality products from Corsair always my go to for computer memory upgrades - shipped very fast from Best buy and arrived just a few days later. Easy installation and doubled the memory

This saved my PC with the wisdom and skill of my local Geek Squad. The Reps. were kind and knowledgeable and able to explain to an old lady like me what was going down. These folks are the best for your money. That means so much these days when it's the opposite. If only Microsoft had the skills and respect like these folks!

Came to store to buy my son a laptop for college as a Christmas gift found a decent deal on a rog strix 16 noticed it did not have the ram that i needed as i wanted 32 gigs asked about purchasing ram to upgrade asked if they knew if it had 1 stick of 16gb ram or 2 8gig sticks they assured me that it looked like there was 1 stick of 16 so i purchased this ram to upgrade laptop to 32 gig of ram got the device home and started to do the upgrade and noticed 2 8 gig sticks of ram well darn now i have ram i cannot use . Had the salesman told me when i was at the store of the proper specs of computer i would of purchased 2 sticks of 16 as i live far away over a hour now i have to absorb the cost of going to the store 2 times which equals about 100dollars in travel . The product is good but the misrepresentation of the product is what sucks now do i take my business back to best buy or do i wait and see a price dip on amazon and now i have to find a way of selling 2 sticks of ddr 5 8gig 5600 ram just a problem i shouldn't have to deal with as i was trusting the staff on this item and purchase. I customer service sees this i hope they reach out to me as a long time total member i really would like to continue to give you my buisness this is me seeing how much you care for your customers show me you read these and reach out to me with possible solutions
