Q: Hi, can Alexa be upgraded when it time for it to upgrade?
A: Hello Babydoll, The Echo Show 8 will automatically update its software when it's idle. Usually automatic updates will be pushed to the device overnight. If you would like to manually check for updates, you can simply say "Alexa, Check for Updates". She will check to make sure your device is up to date. You can also do this from the Show 8's home screen. From the Home Screen, Swipe down from the top of the screen and you will see what looks like a Gear. This is the Settings option. Once you tap on "Settings" tap on "About". Once you tap "About" you will see an option that says "Check for Software Updates". By tapping on this button, your Alexa Device will check to see if their are any available updates and will prompt you asking permission to download. I hope this helps!

Excellent Echo Show8 Easy to Use and Very Helpfull
I absolutely love my Echo Show 8! The screen is the perfect size, big enough to see clearly but not too large on my countertop. Setup was fast and easy, and the sound quality is great for music and calls. I use it every day for video calls, checking weather, controlling smart home devices, and watching videos. The display is crisp, and Alexa responds quickly. It’s a very useful and versatile device that makes life easier. Highly recommend!

Excellent Smart Display – Very Useful and Easy to
Very excellent product. The screen is clear and bright, and the sound quality is very good. It is very easy to use and works perfectly for music, video calls, weather updates, and smart home control. I really like the design and how fast it responds. I highly recommend this item.

i had the original Alexa dot and have had it for years now i absolutely love it. Once i got this show it showed me truly how advanced our technology is getting! so easy to use and i love it! the cherry on top is your able to stream any network on it!
