1 is not the loneliest number that the Beatles had. It has all 27 of their number ones hits in the U.S. and U.K. album charts. It is the definitive compilation album ever. It is also my number one favorite album along with the Beatles Stereo Box Set and the Beatles in Mono Box Set. YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!

This album takes you from the start of the Beatles as a pop group to the more nuanced group we saw at the end. It is a good journey through this transition. Even though some of my favorite songs aren't on it because they weren't #1 hits it is a good cross section of their library of songs.

The Beatles 1 Digipak CD is great. The version I purchased had more songs on it than some of the newer ones, so compare them before you buy. Best Buy got it to me quickly and packaged safely at a good price.
