With a new day comes a new leader for the sixth season, as Wayne Palmer (DB Woodside), brother of former president David Palmer, has taken the reins from the corrupt Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin). But President Palmer has little time to celebrate his election, as America faces yet another grave threat, this one from Islamic terrorist Abu Fayed (Adoni Maropis). By way of introduction, Fayed orders suicide bombings of 10 U.S. cities over a period of 11 weeks. But he's just getting warmed up-before Day 6 comes to a close, the threat goes nuclear. Trying to prevent further bloodshed, as always, is Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). Out of the frying pan and into the fire, Jack is freed after months of torture in a Chinese prison, only to be handed over to Fayed in exchange for seemingly valuable intel. Tackling the day's dangers on the CTU front are new personnel additions Mike Doyle (Rick Schroder), who replaces the fallen Curtis Manning as director of field operations, and Agent Milo Pressman (Eric Balfour), who has a history of butting heads with his new boss. Day 6 also provides the first glimpse of Jack's blood relatives, his father Phillip (James Cromwell) and brother Graem (Paul McCrane). But it's far from a touching family reunion, as one of Jack's toughest challenges is determining where the other Bauers' loyalties lie. Several new faces make their way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., including steely vice president Noah Daniels (Powers Boothe) and presidential advisers Reed Pollock (Chad Lowe) and Thomas Lennox (Peter MacNicol), each of whom has his own agenda. Making a surprise return later in the day are former president Logan, his ex-wife Martha (Jean Smart), and former Secret Service agent Aaron Pierce (Glenn Morshower), all of whom play brief but pivotal roles in the season's developments. ~ Todd Thatcher

      Jack Bauer is the Man!

Just when you thought the writers of 24 couldn't throw anything else new at you...they did! Season 6 of 24 delivers more nonstop action and a plot that starts or great and draws you in even more with each passing second. When you first run into Jack Bauer, he's lower that he's ever been before...but that doesn't stop him from doing what he needs to. Watching 24 is truly like eating potato can't have just one. You'll be hooked by the first episode, and you'll just want to keep watching and watching. Familiar faces return to face a new enemy. Season 6 was the best yet for 24...and with Season 7 only a few months away...who knows what will happen. Need something exciting to watch? Grab Season 6 of 24!

A fun and exciting series that draws you in. When 24 was first broadcast, I ignored it. Several co-workers (I respected) often commented about the series which soon led to my wife and I watching. As our boys got older we started watching together as a weekly family event. When the series ended, we started with a Fathers Day gift (Day One) to me and we began watching the series from the start. Not only do we enjoy the action, we try to guess what the time will be when the "commercial break" pause ends! Lots of fun to watch! We've completed Season "Day 6" and starting "Day 7" as a Family.

      Very Good

Okay so this wasn't the best season. Actually out of all 6 it was probably the worst. But the acting was great, Kiefer was very good as Jack, especially in the last few minutes when he confronted James Heller. This season had some of the shows best moments, JAck vs. Fayed, the nuclear bomb, Logan's return and many more!! This was a great season and very intense and suspenseful, if you can forget a few repeated plot lines, and get through a weak Wayne Palmer storyline, you will enjoy this season. I liked it very much but I missed Tony Almeida. Good thing he will be back for season 7!!!!

      A Good Show

alot of people have had mixed reviews about this season of 24 that it had the same story plot about terrorists trying to get a nuclear weapon and cause destruction on US Soil but if your a die hard fan of the series you'll put that all behind you and enjoy another new season of 24 atleast next season its going to go to another level of story telling, no nuclear weapons, or virus or assassinations plots but i heard it centers on the presidents son being murdered and thinks its a cover up to it. sounds interesting.

I liked season 6 even though it’s not as good as some previous seasons. If you’re a real 24 fan then you should be able to suspend your disbeliefs in the far-fetched story lines as well as forgive the repeat plot lines and repetitive action. Although if you're making it to season 6 then you must have already forgiven the writers for that in previous seasons. I love 24 so I loved season 6. It also was kind of interesting seeing Jack go up against some in his own family! Overall, I would say this is again a must have for real 24 fans.

      Good season to own

Like the previous seasons, this one starts off with a bang (literally). The US is threatened by terrorist attacks, so the government arranges for Jack Bauer to be brought back from China. This one in my opinion isn't that much different from the other seasons, you've got all the drama, action, and suspense. The only problem is the writers can only come up with so much, I think after 5 seasons they might start to run out of ideas. If you're inching for some more 24, get this.

      Broken, but not out

I've always been a hard core fan of this show since season 1 and it always gets better. For the first time Jack is truly a broken down man in the beginning, but serious situations gets him back on track and he's back to the Jack we've known from all the previous seasons. This season is packed with surprises, action, drama, and more (as you'd expect from 24), but it wasn't as good as season 5. Still though, this is a great season and definitely worth the money.

      Not the best season

Season 5 proved to be a hard act to follow. Although still a good show, Season 6 is my least favorite season. It recycled many plotlines and I didn't particularly like Jack's family. If you're new to the series, you may enjoy this season better, but you'd be better served watching the older ones. I'd still recommend it, but only to those who can't get enough 24 or can't miss a season
