Great for we who are technically challenged
We have been using the Geek Squad for several years, so it just made sense for us to use them again for our new computer. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and patient with us and explained everything so well, that we were able to set it up and use it with no difficulty when we got home that night. And if there are any issues, we can call any time,or take it to the store and the issues will be resolved . We are happy they are there for us.
I've never been a big proponent of extended warranties but, in a moment of weakness, I purchased one with my last computer. Best mistake I've ever made. The hard drive on my old computer died and the geek squad (Cat and Nat)and the store manager (Liam) really went to bat for me. They offered several different options to remedy the situation and the final result was better than I expected. You have a great crew at the Reynoldsburg store!
I do agree with a lot of people and like the knowledge of the Geek Squad team. At times though, they turn into sales personal, and I don't like that. Let them answer tech questions and make recommendations for enhancements or improvements, but not try to sell stuff. Not all techs are like that, in fact many of the sales people know less than the tech's and the tech's can tell you honestly if it is junk or not based on what they are repairing.
