4 Film Favorites: Batman Collection - With Movie Money [2 Discs] [DVD]

This 4 movie collection is a mixed bag. It contains two of my favorite Batman movies (Batman and Batman Returns). However, it also contains the two weakest entries into the Batman universe (Batman Forever and Batman and Robin). Granted that the two weaker ones have moments of fun and some cool things they just suffer from the highly cheesie and bad casting choices. The first two done by Tim Burton are classics for me and fall into my number two and three slots of all the Batman movies, only falling behind The Dark Knight. Michael Keaton is probably by favorite actor to play Batman (Even though most seem to love Christian Bale). This does fill in a few of my comic movie gaps. Worth the purchase just to see the franchise at its best and worse.

These are films that I enjoyed as a child and still find entertaining to this day. When purchasing, be conscious of the production date of these movies as their age shows in the quality of effects and CGI used. If you are a-okay with that, you'll have a grand time enjoying these classics.

This package deal is a must for any Batman fan! 4 of my favs for a great price. I saw all these at the theaters when much younger, and now get to relive them at the comfort of my home with my kiddos. Cant beat it!

This set has two discs with a film on each side. There is little bonus material to be had and absolutely no frills in packaging. Not for the collector who demands the best version of anything Batty. For me they are great to have for infrequent viewing. Despite some of these films being critical flops there is elements of every one of them that I love as a Batman Fan. Can't wait for Wonder Woman and Justice League next year!! Basic but solid set to have.

Grew up watching Batman, now that my son is growing up I can put this on and enjoy watching Batman thru the years with him.

Four Batman movies from the 80's and 90's for one low price, you can't go wrong.
