Be aware, plan doesn’t cover rust

I called geek squad and they said this protection plan doesn’t cover rust, only electrical issues. I guess if the rust gets really bad, it may short circuit the microwave and then MAYBE they will cover it . LOL

Spacious and quiet

My favorite part is there is no loud obnoxious noise when the timer is up when I grab my late night snacks lol

Q: QuestionMy microwave isn't working as well as it did when I first received it. Sometime the food it over cooked and other time not cooked at all, What do I do? I push the # pad sometimes it doesn't work until I open & close the door several times. What do I do?

- A:Answer If you purchased the LG NeoChef 0.9 Cu Ft.Compact Microwave, return it to Best Buy and choose another brand. I’ve had two of these with similar problems you described specifically the sparks and I will not buy another one of the LG models. Best Buy was very good with both returns (I had the extended coverage as well). I honestly think this is a known problem and I’m surprised there is not.a recall on this model. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionIf I purchase a Geek Squad 2 or 4 year warranty won't the manufacturer's warranty be for the first year and then the Geek Squad warranty would then kick in? I don't understand how this Geek Squad warranty would work.

Q: QuestionI have an LG microwave. Love it. Not quite a year old and no power. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and had power. Error message PF then power went out again on it and now no longer works. I do have the four year plan.

- A:Answer I had a similar problem with my last LG microwave...it turned out to be a short circut with my power outlet and not the microwave. I moved the microwave to another outlet and the microwave worked just fine. It lasted for 6 years :) I replaced it with another LG microwave just last month.
