We have a recessed area over the fireplace and needed a mount that would extend far enough and handle an 80 inch tv. This mount worked perfect and my tv looks great over the fireplace!

Got this for a built in entertainment center. The cut in is 28" deep and this was the largest full motion I could find. It does the job and I would highly suggest having the Geeks do the install for you.

The Kanto Wall Mount was relatively expensive and heavy, but it did the job of extending the TV far enough from the wall to allow a 90 degree angle with the wall with full motion so the TV can be oriented exactly as desired. I have a relatively restricted place for the TV so this was necessary to get the orientation I desired when watching and fairly easily put back out of the way when not being used. The Best Buy contracted installers did an excellent job of getting the location just as I wanted it which was not easy.

We used it to mount a 120 pound TV on studs. The mount itself is heavy, 56 pounds. The box containing the hardware was well organized and easy to find the appropriate screws for our TV, and lag bolts to mount into the studs. The installation instructions were easily understandable and mostly complete. I wish the drawings had one additional dimension on them, the vertical distance between the bottom TV mount hole and the bottom wall mount hole (centerlines of both holes). I had to assemble the mount and measure it. Tech support did get back to me, 10 days later with a number, but the mount and TV were on the wall by then. Having this number in the drawings would have made it easier to plan ahead to cut the hole in the wall for electrical and other cables so it's not blocked by the substantial mount rails. The TV stays where we put it. We can pull it away from the wall and angle it to the side, or push it back next to the wall and the TV doesn't drift. We didn't need to adjust the tension on the mount arms to achieve this. It's a little stiff to move, but we are moving a heavy TV, so it's to be expected. The cable guides on the mount arms were just large enough for four CL3 in-wall HDMI cables, a flat ethernet cable and an antenna coax cable. A little more space there would be appreciated, but that's probably the max for cables that a modern TV will use. The TV has power on the other side, so we ran that through the cable guides on the other side of the mount.
