A: Personally, I'd be reluctant to use this in an uncovered area, open to rain or other. We do have it on a covered outdoor living space where it has no problem keeping temperature during extreme heat or cold.

A: While it does get very cold (mid 30s are easily accomplished), we do also use it for refrigerator overflow because it is very reliable. When we want home delivery ion juices or sodas we overdo the purchases and like having the extra space.

Nice Refrigerator, But be careful when closing it.
This is a fine outdoor refrigerator, But over priced. Works well. I didn't realize, because there was no floor model, that this was meant for cans of beverages. Of course the shelve configuration can be modified to allow taller bottles such as mixers, etc. The only real problem is that there is no mechanical door latch. Instead it is a magnetic hold. The problem is that if you swing there door shut, it bounces open. Thankfully there is an alarm that goes off if it’s been open for more than 30 seconds or so. Again, because there was no floor model I didn’t know this until it was delivered. I may have made a different choice. That is a very bad design considering the cost of the unit.

Over a year and still no problems
If I had room, I'd buy a second one. This mini fridge has a lot of extra space for a seemingly small exterior appearance. The top pullout drawer is perfect for yogurts and those individual servings of milk in a carton (the kind you give your kiddos). My main reason for purchasing was to store my dogs' food that I make. I fill up 5 large Tupperware containers and they all fit, no problem, with room even for a half liter of milk or juice to stand in front of them. I've had this a year now, with 2 teenagers opening and slamming shut the door, and two large dogs bumping into it and there have been zero issues. Absolutely satisfied. It does pick up fingerprints, I know some are worried about clean surfaces, but unless you live in a museum, I wouldn't worry about it. It wipes clean.

Really cold beverages where we need them most.
Zephyr - Presrv 24 in. 136-Can Single Zone Outdoor Beverage Cooler - If you’re buying an appliance for outdoor placement in Texas, you had better be sure it is certified for outdoor use. We love our outdoor kitchen and it is very convenient to have cold brews, sodas and preparations we’ve made for the grill within easy reach. Our first few temperature readings proved that this cooler gets well below cool, dropping temperatures into the mid 30s with no difficulty when that’s what we want. In fact, we have so much confidence with our Zephyr refrigerator, we even use it for a backup for our indoor refrigerator when we need extra capacity. I should also note that this is our second experience with Zephyr. A few years ago we purchased a wine/beverage cooler from them, which is a bit prettier, with its glass double doors and absolute silent operations. It has been a great performer. This newly purchased stainless steel, solid front beverage cooler is better suited for the outdoors because it has a lock, it hides its contents, and Zephyr does certify it for outdoor environments. The internal LED lighting does a good job illuminating the interior. The racks are adjustable. The door is magnetically sealed and is provided with a chime if you leave it ajar. I suppose a positive latch would add confidence, but the wide magnetic seal is well engineered and we’ve had no issues. A final note about BestBuy delivery services which were quick, on time, with useful updates. The crew that brought it in were careful, brought it all the way to the rear of our home where the outdoor kitchen is located and, as promised in the delivery agreement, took our older unit away. This continues a growing series of successful deliveries which keeps us coming back.
