A: The launch version includes a digital code for a in-game costume for your character. That’s the only difference.
Q: Does the PS5 version come in 1 disc or 2 discs? What is the size of the game?
A: The standard PS5 version physical copy comes with a single disc and then has updates to install like most games. There are digital editions available. Beware that the collectors edition has a steel book in it but does NOT come with a physical disc, only a voucher for the download, same as the Jotnar edition.

A: You can’t. The only way to get digital games is directly from the PlayStation store. However you can buy a $75 Playstation store gift card and tell your recipient to buy god of war of their own volition.
A: No, the PS5 disc will not work on the PS4. If you buy digitally from the PS Store, then you will have the option to download both versions of the game.
