However, I don't see any optical audio output listed in the specifications section for this TV. I don't know if this was an accidental omission by Best Buy personnel who set-up this listing or not. If not, this would be the first model of smart TV (since 2015) that I have come across that did not have an "Optical" output on the rear of the unit.

Picture perfect
I’m extremely happy with my 55-inch Samsung TV. The picture quality is outstanding—colors are vibrant, the contrast is sharp, and everything looks incredibly clear whether I’m watching movies, sports, or streaming shows. The 4K resolution really makes a difference, especially with newer content. The sound quality is also surprisingly good for a flat-screen TV, but it pairs perfectly with a soundbar if you want an even more immersive experience. Setup was quick and easy, and the smart features are very user-friendly. I love how fast the apps load and how seamless it is to switch between streaming services. The design is sleek and modern, with a thin bezel that looks great in my living room. Overall, it feels like a high-quality product that delivers excellent performance for the price. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a reliable and great-looking upgrade.

Solid refresh after nearly a decade
I picked this up to replace a 50-inch Samsung that’s about nine years old, and it’s clear the brand hasn’t lost its touch. The picture quality is excellent, with rich colors and a noticeably improved interface compared to older models. The panel isn’t the brightest on the market, but it still performs well in daylight, even with some glare. The redesigned remote is simpler and more intuitive, which pairs well with the TV overall. My only real complaint is that the interface can feel sluggish. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something I don’t typically notice on other TVs in this price range. Overall, it’s a strong upgrade with a few quirks, but nothing that overshadows the solid performance. It would easily earn five stars if the interface weren’t packed with ads and sponsored content. Pairing it with a streaming device or a console and setting the TV to power on to the last used input bypasses most of the UI issues, leaving you with a well-priced panel that performs reliably.

Love my Samsung 55" U7900 UHD 4K
I am extremely impressed with the Samsung 55" U7900 Series! The picture quality is outstanding—crisp 4K detail, vibrant colors, and excellent brightness make movies and sports look incredible. The upscaling is surprisingly good too, so even older content looks sharp. The Tizen interface is fast, intuitive, and packed with apps. Switching between streaming services is seamless, and the remote is simple and responsive. Sound quality is better than I expected for a slim TV, and pairing it with my soundbar via HDMI-ARC was effortless. The design is modern and sleek, and it fits perfectly in my living room. Setup was quick, and the TV automatically recognized my connected devices. Overall, this is an amazing value for a 2025 model—great performance, great features, and great picture quality. Highly recommended!
