Hisense - 75" Class S7 Canvas Series Smart Google TV 4K QLED Smart Google TV with Hi-Matte Display and UltraSlim Wall Mount (2026)

Before you invest in a TV of this size and weight, there are a few things you should consider. (1) This TV is really designed to be mounted on a wall. The box includes feet that you can attach that allow it to sit atop a flat surface, but I imagine that would be dangerously unstable. (2) Wall mounting hardware comes with the TV. Wall anchors are included that theoretically would allow you to mount the TV using only drywall for support, but I wouldn’t recommend trusting that much weight pulling on just drywall alone. (3) Mounting the TV is a serious undertaking. I needed a drill, a stud finder, an impact driver to get the massive screws into the studs in my wall, and a 4’ bubble level. And because the weight of this model (75”) exceeds 70 lbs., you will need a strong friend. The bubble level is critical here – if the mounting hardware isn’t exactly level, the size of this TV will only exaggerate the imperfection. (4) The wall mounting directions are conveyed through images. I found the directions unnecessarily confusing – I spent a ton of time making sure I understood everything before I drilled that first hole. Onto the TV itself. Aside from functioning exactly the way you would expect a smart TV to function, this Hisense TV is also designed to exist as a work of art on your wall (placing itself in direct competition with Samsung’s Frame TV). And in keeping with the wall art concept, Hisense has included a “teak” frame that you can attach magnetically to the perimeter of the TV. And while the color of the metal frame (no, it is not real wood) isn’t very teak-y to my way of thinking, I liked the idea of a wood-colored frame that vaguely matches the wooden trim around my windows – but I ended up feeling like I was watching a TV from The Flintstones once I saw the “wood” trimmed TV on my wall. And as much as I muttered to myself while getting the mounting hardware installed, I was ultimately very impressed by how flush this TV was with my living room wall. It’s a small detail, but it really makes the attachment look very impressively professional. Setup is a breeze. Since my phone has all my account information for the various subscriptions I have, I could use my phone to establish those accounts on the TV (there is no way I could track down every password I am currently using!). This Hisense has a matt display that does a great job at keeping glare at bay and gives the included artwork that true canvas look (so….very much a CanvasTV as advertised). And while the blacks are not as velvety and the colors not as vibrant as you would get in an OLED TV, I think the quality of this their new display is very impressive compared to older Hisense models, especially when you consider the pricing of Hisense TV’s. My only real gripe has to do with the TV sound quality. If you don’t have a sound system to use in conjunction with this TV, your feeling of immersion would greatly improve with the addition of a soundbar. Highly recommended with no reservations.

Full disclosure I own 3 Samsung Frame TV's, a TCL Nxtframe & the Hisense 75 S7 Canvas TV and would say that I prefer the Hisense Canvas over the frame from a cost and remote standpoint, (frame's remote is not good) and feel performance (pic quality, sound) is pretty even across the board. The only feature I feel needs improving is the fact that they don't offer a flat plug for this tv but other than that I think it superior to the other two!

The Hisense 75 inch CanvasTV wasn’t something I ever thought I would want but after putting it up and seeing the life it has brought to our family room, I’m sold. I’m not an art collector by any stretch but I do enjoy when something looks nice on the wall. Small family pictures, artwork, and now this television that looks like a painting the majority of the time, it may just be what this room has been missing for when we’re not watching a show or movie. It comes with a lot of choices already built in that you can choose to show all the time, set it to randomly change through them or load your own via your google account or even via a USB stick. Getting to the “Art Mode” is a simple button press on the remote or setting it as your screen saver when not in use. One of the best parts when it is showing art is that there is little to no glare due to the Hi-Matte anti-glare display. It reduces reflections and shows the artwork in such a way that it looks like a real painting rather than a piece of glass. The finishing touch of the art is the frame that you can put around it. It comes with one they refer to as “teak” but you can also purchase white or walnut to help match your décor better. The tv, although a little bit heavier than I expected at about 75 pounds, is still very thin and, thanks to the included slim wall mount that is included, once installed, it sits nearly flush against the wall. One word of caution is to make sure all of your cabling is ready and plugged in before you get it onto the clips so you’re not pulling the bottom out as there is very little wiggle room and most likely you’ll need to lift it up and off again to situate everything. Not impossible but certainly to much to have to do multiple times without risking your own safety or damaging the TV. This is a 4K QLED tv that I found to have very good tones, decent enough blacks and very strong overall picture detail. With the matte finish, it helps to reduce glare but I suspect it impacts brightness a bit in comparison to a regular glossy panel. For us, this is just fine. I plugged in our Xbox and played one of the popular football games. There was absolutely no lag at all. It has a 144Hz refresh rate and a specific gaming mode that helps ensure the experience is flawless. In addition to a good gaming experience, being basketball playoff season, I was able to watch a couple games and really continue to be impressed with this set. For anything I have watched to this point, there has been zero lag, and no sync issues with and without a separate sound system. Regarding sound, I will mention that the built in speakers are average, not great. For me, this doesn’t matter since I’m hooking it up to a full surround entertainment system so I would definitely recommend at least a decent sound bar with a subwoofer to get the most out of it. All of the Google TV apps and options are easy to navigate and get running. Setup overall was very simple and I was able to install and login to all of my streaming apps, Netflix, AppleTV, etc. with zero delays. My WiFi box is on the second floor and the tv is on the first; I have had zero issues with connectivity which I assume is a combination of my equipment and the television’s built in wifi adapter. This is my second Hisense television and I am continually impressed with how far they’ve come. The quality of their sets has really improved over the last few years and I am certainly a fan that will definitely recommend them as a brand and this set in particular.

I recently received this Hisense 75-inch Class S7 CanvasTV 4K QLED Google TV and overall I am extremely happy with it. First thing to know is that this TV is very heavy, so you will definitely need two people if you plan on mounting it on the wall. In my opinion, it was a little more complicated to install compared to a standard TV, but once it was up, it was completely worth it. The picture quality is amazing with beautiful colors, sharp detail, and a very clear display when watching movies, sports, or regular TV. Hisense like always delivers impressive quality at a fraction of the price compared to bigger box brands. I was also very surprised by the sound quality. The audio is strong and clear enough that I don’t even use my sound bar anymore because the built-in speakers sound that good. One of my favorite features is the art and painting mode. There is a great selection of artwork to display, and I love that the TV can function as both entertainment and a stylish art piece in the room. Overall I would recommend this TV to a friend. One great thing in the future that they can add is to customize your art/paintings (like turning one of your fave pics to a painting )

The Hisense S7 CanvasTV 4K made a great addition to my family room. We are able to play Xbox / Nintendo Switch on it, we are able to watch TV and movies on our FireCube. I want to start off talking about the packaging on this TV. The shipping care on this package (and this box was quite large!) was very well done. Special truck delivery and encased in wood. I had no worries about the integrity of the screen itself. Set up was very easy with the included wall mount. One less thing to purchase and I was confident that it would hold the size and weight of the TV itself. The included wood frame looks nice as well, adds to the art decore, but did not fit into my rooms theme. I was pleased to see that they are optional. The picture itself is by far, the very clear and pops off the screen at me at close up distances and 10-15 feet away. I feed the sound through a soundbar so I did not evaluate the speakers. I did want to note about the art part of this TV. The art is nice, but nothing I was too impressed with. I also do not want to have it on all of time, nor do I want to count on the eye detecting when someone is nearby. I work from home and my office is in the same room. That is a lot of energy use! I spent some significant time and effort to try and determine how to turn off the art slideshow without using the factory remote. I use the FireCube remote to turn the TV on and off, adjust the volume and such. The issue is that once the power button is pressed to turn the TV off, it goes to the art frame. I was able to fix this by telling the FireCube to send the command twice. All-in-all, I am happy with this TV. It is a considerable upgrade to my Visio 70” that was over 10 years old. In all aspects, clarity, brightness and picture are a hit out of the park.
