    Nostalgia done right

I was caught in Halo’s glory days when I was a child. Over the years I grew to love every installment produced by Bungie. With each release having an impact in what gaming is now (Halo CE expanding the focus on story telling and Halo 2 introducing multiplayer, etc). In all aspects of its development, from the dedication of the voice actors to the dark industrialized design and angelic score that reaches out to make my soul weep. It was all a harmonious integration of the arts. It was a heavenly triumph, a remarkable run that I was proud to be part of. All until certain decisions were made. After Bungie’s unfortunate departure from the series, 343 managed to keep Halo alive with a string. Halo 4 launched embracing a new era of FPS. A harsh criticism was met from gamers around the globe. Many cited of it having an unknown echo compared to what was instilled from its original predecessors, Hope was stowed away for keepsakes but was slowly gaining avoidance. Regardless of the opinions expressed by the masses of the projects helmed by 343 industries, I do sense the shift of respect with Halo Industries. The hurdling truth to implementing a cycle imitating what was, a forbidden essence that is not meant to be recaptured, is yet a sole reminder of what could come next in a restoring graphical fashion. I highly recommend the experience for the newcomers, the game is still a classic. For the eggheads like myself, it’s a short lived revisit. If repetition is the plan, momentum is the essential kit here. Halo can start to feel like a true triple A game once again. My final take on this remake is that there will always be room for improvement, mistakes are always inevitable but I am confident in Halo Industries that the majority of them will be reduced in future innovations of the Halo Saga. 4.2/5

A beautiful graphic remake that started it all.

The remake graphics are beautiful, incluing strong lighting changes. The new bonus prequel missions are great. Being able to play on ps5 is really nice, especially for folks that don't have a gaming PC up to spec anymore or an Xbox. The lack of Multiplayer isn't a big deal for me, but I can understand other folks complaints about that. Hopefully Halo Studios continues these remakes.

One of the Best of Halo Remake of all time

Halo campaign evolved has to be one best halo remake games I have ever played. I get why people give negative reviews because of the bugs, no multiplayer and not getting pre orders because of other stores didn’t give to them, I get it and that is messed up! They mostly blame the stores but not the game. But I got to say this Halo remake is so awesome! The graphics are amazing and remaking story is the best, especially how they re-introduced the flood was crazy! There is 2 player online or offline co-op or 4 player multiplayer you can play the campaign together. but for 4 players requires subscription. So far no bugs yet when playing, but if there is you can report it in the game. Usually games now are 70 dollars but this one is 50 dollars so I say it’s worth it. I really hope they make Halo 2 and 3 Remake we need those remakes!

    Classic

This game is a classic. The remake has great visuals and great tweaks to gameplay. Definitely feels weird to boot it up on a PlayStation though.

    Incredible

I really don’t get the negative reviews and I’ve been playing Halo since 2001. Yes, the game has some bugs and can be polished more but other than that, the new graphics are just a flabbergasting delight. The game runs beautifully on my PS5 Pro. I really REALLY hope they remake Halo 2 and 3.
