This album is a musical triumph for Paul Thorn. It captures the magic of his live performances in studio form. This musical masterpiece is a well mapped out musical journey from beginning to end. Each song has its place and there are no throwaway songs. From the star crossed young lovers in Lucky 7 Ranch to the wise contentment of When the Long Road Ends, the CD plays like a life story full of love, temptation and redemption. Stand out tunes include, Everybody Wishes, What Have You Done to Lift Somebody Up? and the title track. Paul's gospel upbringing brings a spiritual undertone to the entire piece but this is no contemporary Christian album, it's pure Rock and Roll in the oldest, traditional sense.
