Q: Is there a fee to use this tablet or do you have to be a member at amazon?
A: There is no fee nor need to be an Amazon member. It comes with very minor ads, as in it has an ad when you are on the lock screen.
Q: Can you transfer all books and games from old kindle fire to this one?
A: The previous books and games are transferred when the account is signed into.
Q: What accessories goes with this? Can a keyboard be attached?
A: Yes you can use a bluetooth. I have used a logitech key board with no problems
Q: Is this tablet wi-fi and sim card compatible?
A: yes to both. Wi-Fi and micro card slot.
Q: Is the amazon fire as good as the kindle fire
A: They are the same product. Every Fire tablet is also a Kindle reader. The newest 10" 7th generation Fire HD tablet is a great Kindle reader and I bought it primarily for that feature.
Q: Is there a cover for this? Does it come with
A: No, the 10" Fire HD tablet does not come with a cover. You can buy a good one made for Amazon at Best Buy for about $40. But you can also find generic covers that fit fine for far less. The only issue is the wait time for the cheaper covers.
Q: can you download MS Office onto Kindle Fire 10 or is there a comparable app for this ?
A: Yes. I have Word, Excel and PowerPoint on mine
Q: Does this tablet have an hdmi port and does it have gps
A: No hdmi port.
