An actual magical piece of glass.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well ok. I haven't been much into Apple products until I purchased a Macbook Pro earlier this year. However this is the first product I can fully admit Apple has nailed it. This device takes so much amazing tech and puts it all into one. The display - big, bezeless, and yes yes YES, the 120hz refresh rate. Simply the smoothest piece of tech you will probably ever use... the way it responds to your finger, and yes, the Apple Pencil, is instant and fluid. The charging port? Gone is Apple's proprietary lightning! I'm so happy to use one charger now for my laptop, tablet, and currently Android phone (ha). My 1TB SSD is a breeze to use! Unlocking the device is fairly seamless. I'm so glad you can use FaceID at any angle! It's usually unlocked by the time I open my folding case, and I can get straight to work. The speakers are indeed GREAT. They fire outside the top and bottom and can stand out in a noisy environment. I generally don't have to bring a spare speaker for my music rehearsals! The battery life is second to none. I rarely worry about charging this thing for days at a time. All of this has culminated into an INCREDIBLY useful tool for me as a musician. The app ForScore has literally sold this thing to me so hard... Gone are the days of carrying 400 page Real Books or organizing binders to fit in all my Jazz charts. This thing saves paper, makes it easy to access tools like MIDI play along tracks and metronomes, and the Apple Pencil has been amazing to annotate chart with. Granted, there are a few things I would've liked. Faster charging would be appreciated - when I do need to top this off, I generally have to do it overnight as even the included 18W charger does take a while to charge the humongous battery. Second, I would've liked a base storage of 128GB. I went with the 64GB because I couldn't warrant the extra $150 for the 256GB... That's a lot of headroom I don't need, however I am now being cautious of filling up that 64. Third, I would've liked the headphone jack. It simply makes no sense to remove from a large tablet that's INTENDED for productivity. And last, this thing is thin, but perhaps too thin. I do worry about bending and would advise some sort of hard case... They're not that bad if you go for a folio case. You don't even need the official Apple one to get the functionality of locking the device once you close the case. Other than that, this is my first time owning a tablet, and I've been blown away with what I've been able to do with it. Plus, it's an absolute joy to use in every regard! If you can get this thing on sale for $650 like I did, you are getting a TON for that price!

Best Revision Since the Original!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply the best revision of the iPad in history. I'll give a quick summary, then list the pro's and cons. First, this thing is insanely fast, compact, and the new folio keyboard is in my opinion tenfold better than the ladder 10.5 pro keyboard. This is so compact, by the pictures you can see how slim it is with the keyboard over. It now covers the Front AND Back of the iPad, making it completely worth it plus 2 angles. I honestly don't think the iPad Pro 11 is worth it without the folio. Second, this thing is so compact, i'll be taking it everywhere, and while writing the review i'm playing music on it while taking pictures on it. My laptop I would never do that. If you travel a lot, leave your laptop at home and take this! I can remote into my desktop at home for heavy IT reliant jobs. Pros: -Out of this world A12X performance. This 7nm new chip from Apple is honestly evolutionary. It compares to an i7 7700k from Intel! This is a huge watt chip that is in a desktop. Coming from a guy with an MIS (IT) degree, I hate to be dramatic, but it is evolutionary. The claims are true. -New compact factor: Finally apple reworked the chassis and made nearly full screen and more compact. Perfect size. -Great Speakers (playing music while my desktop speakers are in front of me) the speakers are so good. -New Folio keyboard is so much better this iteration. -Slim weight and size (boxed) -USBC was definitely needed for a "laptop replacement" argument Cons: There are a few cons that really should be addressed in the iPad Pro 11 Inch "2?" -USBC port is great, but when I plug directly into my drone, it doesn't read the SD card like cameras are advertised to. Not sure why. Hoping iOS uodates fix this. -It is quite expensive. I'd rather see this lower around $699 starting. $799 for the 128GB instead of $949 for the 256GB -Getting rid of the headphone jack really turns me off personally. It could easily fit it, apple wants you to go wireless in their ecosystem and cave in on it. I understand, but it isn't practical yet to get as good of quality as wired earbuds. Until then, i'll use my old wired pair. Hopefully new developments soon on this area. -Mouse movement would be cool, but would add bulk. Some in between solution would be great of apple to come up with. Perhaps a stylus type deal where you can "draw it" on a counter to move the mouse area. If you are planning to wait, don't! This is the biggest update in the iPad history. Like a review said online, there will not be a major reworking for a while (like the iPhone X and XS). I am extremely picky and return products with the slightest disappointment, and I do not regret it at all. 64GB storage is plenty for me even with 4k drone videos and a lot of pictures. Would rather pay $100 more for 128GB (or should be standard with this price point). You get what you pay for in the Tech Business!

First time iPad user.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to be a skeptic about the usability and purpose of the iPad’s existence. I finally decided to go for the iPad Pro 11in and I’m impressed at the power, smoothness and capability of this device. I use it all the time and barely touch my old MacBook Pro. With iPadOS it will only get better! Highly recommended.

Q: QuestionCan the back be engraved like they are offering directly from Apple. If so, what is the cost?
Asked by Mumma.
- A:Answer Best Buy does not offer engraving on iPads, or any apple products for that matter. This is because they are packaged in a retail box and sealed. Apple engraves the product before packaging it and sending it off to you.
