A: I sent mine back. There is nothing wrong with the laptop. However, I have an issue with Apple. I couldn't install any software on it. The reason being, Apps for the laptop are updated all the time. This means that any computer this old has barely any software with install on it. Apple forces you to upgrade your hardware by making the software that works on older laptops obsolete. This is because they continually update the OS.

    Great for Homeschooling

    I ordered 2 matching laptops for my kids. One came as ordered, but the second was actually an upgrade (a 2017 w more ram), so that was nice. The 2015 arrived spotless, the 2017 was a little less so, but nothing horrible. I cleaned it up before I put the cases and screen protectors on. It did take me some time to get both laptops upgraded to a newer version of the mac operating system, but it was manageable and both laptops are serving us well. These are supposed to meet the minimum requirement for Minecraft, but unfortunately they overheat very quickly, so that’s a no-go. Other than that- they have been great and for a reasonable price. We use these primarily for homeschooling, so the continuity of being able to airdrop and share apps and game purchases has been great. Online learning platforms are functioning great and the batteries seem more than adequate for our needs. With a couple of hard cases and keypad protectors purchased elsewhere, I think we are set. Overall, we are very happy with our refurbished macbook purchases.

    Awesome macbook!

    This macbook is old but let me tell you, it’s awesome! it works as if it wasn’t old, you just have to youtube how to update it more to the modern update. This was a cheap but totally worth the money spent on it!
