A: I have not paid attention to the light, I put it to charge at night, and in the morning I disconnect it, I do it every 8 days by routine, but not because it discharges, the battery is very good and lasts a long time.

A: As long as you have a world-wide charger and it accepts the the charging cord that comes with the toothbrush I do not see why it would not work.
